Part 41: Clumsy!!

"What happened....tell me what happened to him" he questioned again and this time with much more power in his voice.
"Inspector....I know I won't be spared either if I tell you the truth...but I can't hide it anymore from you" he closed his eyes for a jiffy and started speaking again...

"He was such a great guy....so honest and sincere...he was so happy to be here....and we became best friends.... everything was good till we saw our head of department exchanging those drugs with the mafia.." he paused in anxiety...

"Drugs..." Inspector Shergill looked at him keenly...
"Yes Inspector...drugs...I told him just let it be...but he was adamant to find out whatever wrong was happening here...." He explained further...

"Then... what happened?" he sat in front of him...

"He started keeping an eye on the activities of our bosses...and finally he came to know about their secret base... where all their truths were hidden" he gulped a lump and sounded scared...

"Then he told me to come with him to catch them red handed....I was very scared...but his words threw out all the fear out of me....he said "if we don't have the courage to do the right thing then we don't have the right to demand for the right thing to happen to us too"....I decided to accompany him....we went to the godown..their secret base" his eyes became red by the moment in rage...

"you found anything there?"he enquired....

"We found everything....tons of drugs...I don't have the words to explain what humongous amount we saw....and he got so furious to see all that.... I can't speak and understand Hindi very well..but I remember what he said.."inn drugs ne mujhse kitna kuch chheena hai...ab main inki wajah se aur zindagiyan tabah hone nahi dunga".... He started crying by the moment...

"Then what he did?" He stood up and stared at him...

"He burned everything....all their drugs and even informed the police....but just before the police came...we were cought by our boss and his henchmen" he continued.....
