Connor hummed cheerfully as he rounded the corner from the break-room and began to walk towards Hank's desk, humming as he took long quick strides.

Unfortunately, he hadn't been paying much attention to where he was going, and swiftly collided with someone who crossed his path, spilling coffee onto the white sleeve of said person's jacket.

Connor immediately swiftly took some of the napkin's he was holding and attempted to wipe the coffee off of the person's sleeve before it could burn them.

"I'm terribly sorry, I hope it's not to hot-"

A cool monotone voice spoke calmly.

"It should be alright. After all I can't really get burn's the same way human's do."

Connor snapped out of his worried state and looked up at the person's (Well androids) face with realization. (they were at least 3-4 inches taller.)

"O-Oh...hello, nine."

Colin stared at Connor quietly.

He looked quite menacing.

Colin had just started working here a couple of day's ago, and Connor already knew that he wasn't quite friendly.

"You should be more careful in the future, eight ."

The way Colin put emphasis on the word eight, seemed to mock Connor for being an older model, and seemed to remind Connor of the fact that Colin was made be oh so much better.

Connor nodded, trying not to show his disappointment.

Would the other ever stop putting him down for being a previous model?

"Sorry..."

Connor responded weakly before giving Colin a curt nod and quickly walking back to the Break room.

Connor bit his lip in an attempt to hold back tears.

Alright, he get's it, he's a prototype.

But Connor could solve crime's and do his work just as well!

Right...?

Ugh...these human emotion's really were going to take some getting used to.

Once Connor had made the Coffee to Hank's liking, he swiftly (And more cautiously.) made his way back to Hank's desk, this time with no occurrences.

"Thank's..."

Hank mumbled looking up, and immediately noticing something was off.

"Connor? are you alright?"

Connor sighed and loosened his tie.

"Y-Yes, Lieutenant."

He lied.

"The hell you are."

Hank replied, easily seeing through the android.

Hank stood from his chair.

"Why don't we take a break, Connor. let's just head back to the break room and relax a bit."

Connor sighed, knowing it was useless to argue with Hank.

Colin's Pov :

Colin didn't say anything, silently watching Connor grab Hank another coffee and walk over to his desk, clearly bothered  by something.

After all he was rather easy to read.

Colin scanned Connor, observing his stress level's which currently, were at at 70%.

why were his stress level's so high?

Had he said something wrong?

Though Colin wouldn't openly admit it, he couldn't help but smile whenever Connor would cheerfully walk through the office or hum to himself.

Curiously, he got up from his chair and started to walk towards the break room with intent to eavesdrop.

quietly he leaned up against the wall next to the door, so he could peak inside and raised the sensitivity on his hearing so he could focus in on what they were saying.

Connor's Pov:

Connor didn't really say much as he watched Hank puff out a breath of air and lean against the counter top.

He could feel hank's concerned gaze on him.

"Connor..."

Hank began softly.

"Your acting strange and you seem upset. Tell me what's wrong."

Connor released the breath he didn't know he'd been holding,

"It's just...Sometime's I feel like I'm...just not good enough and that maybe you should replace me-"

"Connor, I would never replace you-"

"Please let me speak, Hank."

Connor interjected softly.

Hank nodded, allowing the android to continue,

"It's not a matter of if you want to, Hank, I'm saying that maybe you should..."

Hank scoffed angrily.

"There's no way in hell I'm ever gonna replace you, Connor..."

Hank placed a hand on Connor's shoulder.

"Your like a son to me, and it'd be awful for me to lose you."

Hank's voice had softened.

Fluid's started to leak from Connor's eyes causing the android's eyes to widen as he brought a hand up to touch his damp cheek.

"H-Hank I don't know what's happening t-to me..."

Hank chuckled and shook his head, looking at the android with a sad smile.

"It's alright, son...that's normal."

Hank pulled Connor into a hug, patting his back.

Little did they know, another android had been around the corner listening.
