(Angst requested by Widovmaker)

Colin and Gavin both sat in uncomfortable silence.

They'd gotten into another stupid argument that day, over something as simple as a kiss on the cheek.

They'd been in the break room talking when Colin had pecked Gavin on the cheek causing the smaller man to gasp and yell at him.

Now both men sat silently across from one another, Colin refusing to look at Gavin.

If they'd just been acquaintances or something, Colin could see what was wrong with it but they'd been in a relationship for six month's now.

Anytime Colin tried to do something as little as hold Gavin's hand or peck his cheek in public Gavin would get upset or seem embarrassed.

This had happened on numerous occasion's and Colin was starting to get fed up with it.

Gavin kept glancing at Colin, now feeling bad about his outburst.

Finally, Colin couldn't take any more of Gavin's looks and sighed before standing from his seat and quickly walking away before he said something he'd regret.

He could feel Gavin's gaze on his back as he walked towards the hallway.

Colin just needed to be alone for a bit, just to clear his head and-

God why did this bother him so much???

He should have expected as much from Gavin Reed.

Lieutenant Gavin Reed, who needed to keep up his 'I'm a tough guy and an asshole that hates androids.' persona.

Gavin was so fucking selfish!!!

Colin thought angrily, anyone he walked passed gave the android a wide berth, sensing his practically venomous and pissed aura.

Colin's mind started to wander back to their argument.

("You can't just do that shit in public, Colin!"

"What's the big issue, Gavin? it was just a kiss on the cheek!"

"I don't need everyone to know I'm shacking up with a fucking Android!!!"

Colin went silent, and Gavin's face twisted into confusion.

"What?"

"Is that all I am to you...?"

Gavin's eyes widened.

"Just some....'Fucking machine?'"

"Colin's that's not what I-"

"That's not what you meant??? then why do always fucking say it then?!!! you call me tin-can, plastic waste, toaster and Android every. single. fucking. day. and you expect me to just sit there and take it like it's nothing. I can fucking feel now, Gavin! did you forget that? oh wait, you don't care. And that's probably why you don't give a fuck. I know two thing's for certain. Your ashamed to be with me so you just don't fucking care!"

Synthetic tears had started to roll down Colin's cheeks.

Gavin was shocked.

It was the first time he'd seen the normally calm and collected android lose his cool in such a way.

Colin angrily wiped them away.

"And clearly I'm nothing more than a fuck buddy apparently since we're just 'Shacking up.' so to speak. Go fuck yourself, Reed."

Colin huffed angrily and stormed past a shocked Gavin.)

Colin was fucking seething with rage now, and didn't know how to handle it.

He'd been a deviant for a couple of month's now but some emotion's were still rather new to him.

The emotional strain had taken it's toll however, rooting itself in Colin's data and processor's.

He had to find somewhere to be alone.

He needed to be alone, somewhere no one else could see him.

immediately he noticed a supply closet and wrenched the door open closing it behind him.

He had just barely managed to cover his mouth and shut the door behind him when the sobs started to escape.

the grip of his hand on his mouth tightened as the he started to cry harder, sobs wracking through his body, shaking his core.

Month's of pent up frustration and abuse all coming out to show themselves at once.

Eventually Colin let go of the doorknob, allowing himself to to slide down the wall and onto the floor, his hand still gripping his mouth.

Colin curled into himself, his forehead pressing against his knee's.

Why? why did he have to feel this way?

Now he understood why human's didn't like feeling this way.

It made him want to die.

to just end it all-

*knock knock*

Colin shot up.

"Colin...? it's me...Gavin."

Colin didn't move.

"Can I come in?"

Colin took a deep breath.

"Okay."

Slowly the door pushed opened.

"Hey...."

Gavin whispered softly, guilt immediately coating his face at the state he'd left his love in.

He'd caused this.

Gavin carefully walked over, kneeling in front of the android.

"You know I don't mean any of it..."

Gavin mumbled, his voice slightly strained.

Gavin wrapped his arm's around Colin's trembling frame, burying his nose in his hair.

"I never meant any of it...I'm sorry. I'm just a fucking asshole..."

Colin took a shaky breath before sitting up.

"I don't know if I can take this anymore...God, I love you Gavin, but I don't know."

Gavin smiled weakly.

"I'd understand...but I love you too...so much."

Gavin leaned forward, catching Colin's lips in a kiss so sweet that it made Colin's chest tighten.

"I won't say those thing's ever again...I promise."

Colin leaned forward allowing Gavin to cradle him.

"Okay... this is your last chance you asshole."

Colin mumbled into Gavin's shoulder making Gavin smile.

"That's okay. As long as I'm your asshole."

Colin smiled against the leather of his jacket.

"Aww....Gavin."

Gavin sighed and kissed Colin again.

"Goddammit...you know I'm not good with mushy-gushy love shit Colin..."

Gavin sighed and ran a hand through Colin's hair.

"Your not good at a lot of thing's."

Colin grinned.

"WHAT?"
