(Hank x Connor Fluff slight angst requested by Anonymous Reader.)

Connor sighed happily, nuzzling into Sumo's fluffy and soft coat.

Hank snored softly, having fallen asleep on the couch well over an hour ago.

Connor glanced over at him, smiling.

His smile however, slowly disappeared.

He'd been thinking about....things.

A lot more than he should, actually.

About what had happened at the Playground, near Winsor. (Near the border of Canada.)

He kept relaying the scene, over and over in his head.

Hank had asked what he was.

And of course at the time Connor responded with how he thought Hank would want him to answer.

*"I can be whatever you want me to be, Lieutenant. Your friend. Your buddy to drink with..."

Connor paused.

"Or just a machine...."

Connor whispered softly.

"Designed to accomplish a task..."*

Hank had never answered him that night.

He knew now that Hank cared for him, but....

What was he, to him?

Connor knew that thinking about it so much was probably stupid, and that he was just over-thinking it to much.

But still his gaze flickered over to Hank, willing himself to just ask the man the goddamn question and stop being so worried over something that likely didn't even cross the other man's mind.

Connor?

It shouldn't matter.

"Connor?"

They were friends.

"Connor?!"

That should be all that mattered.

"Connor!!"

Connor's head snapped up, his gaze shooting towards the sound of his name being called.

Hank sat up awake and was now looking at him with concern.

"Your LED's flashing red. I've been callin' your name for five minutes now. Are you alright?"

Connor nodded, clearly embarrassed he'd been caught deep in thought.

"Yes Hank, don't worry, I was merely thinking and processing some memories."

Hank furrowed his brows, scooting up so he was sitting on the edge of the couch.

"Memories? Are you sure your okay? Are your memories alright?"

Hank asked in a worried tone.

"Yes they're completley fine, don't worry about it Hank, If anything was wrong I would tell you."

Hank nodded before patting the cushion next to him.

"Well alright then...why don't you come sit down then?"

Connor nodded, standing up before making his way over to the sofa.

Cautiously Connor at down next to Hank, the question sitting on the tip of his tongue.

"Hank?"

Hank immediately turned his attention to Connor.

"Is something wrong??"

Connor smiled and shook his head softly.

"N-No....But do you think I could ask you something?"

Hank raised an eyebrow.

"Go right ahead. Shoot."

Connor played with his hands.

"What....what do you want me to be? Better yet what am I to you?"

Connor asked, Hesitation still evident in his voice.

Hank was silent for a moment.

"What I want you to be is, Connor-"

Hank stated softly before taking one of Connor's hands.

"-And as for what you are to me...what you are is mine, Connor."

Connor looked confused.

"But, Hank....android's aren't merchandise-"

"Goddammit Connor, thats not what I meant."

Connor tilted his head.

"What do you mean?"

"God fucking dammit Connor, I'm trying to be...romantic....with you..."

Hank mumbled out clearly embarrassed at how Connor took things so literally.

"Oh...."

Connor flushed blue before leaning into Hank's shoulder and mumbling.

"I suppose you belong to me to then, Hank."

"Fuckin' android..."

Hank mumbled before giving Connor a gentle kiss in the lips.
