Alec paced as Magnus sent the fire message to his friend Ragnor Fell.
"Just sent it Alec," he said as Alec slowed down."You don't need to worry Alexander. We will get the Book of the White and reverse the spell before Augustus can kill any of them."
"But what if we can't," said Alec, showing his fangs. "What if Augustus kills all of them right now. What if they die, hating my guts." Magnus felt his heart sink, hearing his boyfriend feeling depressed. His blue eyes were now a dull grey. His pale cheeks being covered with tears and blood.
"They don't hate your guts," said Magnus, pulling Alec to sit on the golden sofa. "It was the spell Augustus did that made Isabelle and Jace hate you. You still have Max, how you said accepts and loves you."
"But I told him to hate me. To want me dead when he sees me on the street. He may still loves me, but he will hate me because I told him too," yelled Alec, his eyes now completely dark. Tears with blood mixed with them fell down his face.
"Alec," said Magnus, pulling the vampire into a hug. "Baby, you need to calm down. When vampires get mad, they get hungry, and we have no blood yet." He wiped the blood filled tears of Alec's face. Alec took a deep breathe, closing his eyes. When he realesed, he shook, not use to the fact that vampires really don't need to breathe. He opened his eyes, revealing the bright blue eyes that Magnus loves.
"But I am hungry," laughed Alec, smiling toward the warlock.
"Come," he said, jumping off the couch pulling Alec up with him. "Lets go to Taki's!"
-
Magnus sat across from Alec in the booth nearest to the door. Alec was slurping up his blood shake, freaking out most of the customs. They stared at him for two reasons; They have never seen a vampire in daytime before, and worry that he might still be hungry and attack them.
"Alec, if your still hungry, I'll get you another one," Magnus said, grasping one of Alec's cold hands. The vampire looked up from his drink and looked embarrassed.
"Sorry. I just want to fill up so I won't be hungry for a while." Magnus sighed, shaking his head.
"You still have to feed regularly. If you hold it off you'll attack on sight. Like when you raised and attacked Clary." Alec placed his free hand over his cheek, as if seeing if he was blushing.
"Right," he said simply, still playing with cheek. "At least the vampire thing can't make me blush."
"It's the worst thing about it," stated Magnus. "Your blush was one of the million things that made you cute. And when they took of your runes, it was another. That Fearless rune is making you less adorable!"
"The Fearless rune is making our relation work more," said Alec. "I no longer have to hid us, and I'm pretty sure we would have to have the 'I am a mortal, you're immortal' conversation later on. Sure it meant losing my family, myself, and my old life, but now I have you, confidence, and a bright future with you by my side." Magnus felt himself blush, which never happened.
"I love you Alexander," he said.
"I love you too Magnus," Alec replied, with Kaelie bringing another blood shake to Alec.
"You must be special to Alec if he is willing to be open about him being gay," she said looking toward Magnus.
"Of course I'm special to Alec. I'm his fiancé," he said giving Alec a wink. Alec smiled as Kaelie looked toward him and Magnus.
"I'm so glad Alec found someone who make him happy," she smiled, showing her sharp teeth. She walked away, with Alec still smiling.
"Does that mean?" He said, pulling out a velvet blue box.
"Yes," Magnus said. "Alexander, I do accept your proposal to marriage." Alec pulled the ring out of the box, and
placing it on his ring finger. Magnus reached of the table and grabbed him by the front of his hole covered, black sweater. He locked their lips, ignoring the clapping of the Downworlder customers. Magnus felt the cold lips of his newly formed fiancé and felt as he hundreds of years of his life were useless without Alec in his life. In only the two months they've met, both have completely fell in love with each other.
"Look who it is," said a familiar and mad voice. Both pulled away and saw Jace, Isabelle, Clary, and Simon in front of the door. Isabelle stared in disgust as Jace looked disappointed. "It's the damned fags."
"Stop Jace," said Clary tugging on his arm. "We aren't here to fight. We are here to ask you to make a portal to Alicante," she looked toward Magnus with pleading eyes.
"I'll do it," he said, looking toward Alec, who was looking as of he might melt into the seat. "But only for my fiancé."
Jace and Isabelle's eyes became full of anger. Both Simon and Clary looked at Magnus with fear. The two experienced Shadowhunters ran out the door leaving the four of them alone.
"Your engaged?" Asked Clary.
