"Link, the baby's peeing on me again."

He chuckles, "wow. I guess he likes you more."

You playfully roll your eyes and scoff.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm gonna go take a shower. I smell like baby fluids." You giggle lightly. Link nods sweetly and takes the child, quickly putting a diaper on after cleaning him off.

"Wait," Link stops you about halfway to the bathroom, "Can i join?"

You scoff, "dirty."

He shrugs, "you didn't say no."

-time skip-

the ring of the doorbell seems like music to your ears as you pick the small sleeping child up and carry them over to the door. It opens carefully and you smile at the woman on the other side.

"Thank you so much for watching my little angel," she starts, taking out a one-hundred dollar bill from her wallet, "here, for being so sweet."

You smile and nod, knowing well how denying money doesn't work. (you can thank Link for that skill.)

The money is placed in your back pocket as you say goodbye to the woman, and as soon as she leaves you shut the door and run up to yours and links room.

Your baby was asleep on the bed, curled up cutely with his glasses still on. A soft smile curls onto your lips and you take them off, placing the framed glass on the side table.

"goodnight baby." you whisper, climbing into bed as his arms wrap around you immediately and hold you close.

"goodnight to you too." he mumbles sleepily and you smile more, eventually drifting to sleep.
