Your mind thinks of everything that could happen.

Maybe he's throwing a surprise party for him!

Maybe he sent the text...

Maybe Link needs help with something!

Maybe he hates me...

Maybe he cancelled our date...

Rhett closed your office door and sat in the extra chair next to yours.

"I don't know if you got my text, but you can't be with Link." He stated in a cold tone. You mentally slap yourself. Of course it was rhett! You think.

"W-why?" You ponder, why would rhett care so much about-

He quickly grabs your neck and waist and kisses you. You start to kiss back, but regret it when he tries to taste your lip. Just as you pull away Link comes into the room.

"(Y/N)? We always give new krew members doughnuts so-" you pull away from Rhett and he smirks at Link,

Links mouth drops open and his plate makes a loud crash on the ground. Pieces of the once porcelain plate stuck in the rug of the office.

Link runs out of the room and you get up to leave, but Rhett stops you. "C'mon, Baby... he'll be okay; now where were we?" He tried to kiss you again but you pushed him off and ran after Link.

You came outside just as link got into his car.

"Link! Rhett kissed me!"

He shook his head.

"Just go to him, you looked happier with him than me."

"What?"

"I saw how you looked at him and smiled when we got to the door."

"That's because I was happy to meet him!"

"Just.... give me some time"

He pulled out of the driveway.

"Link you're the only person I want to be with" he didn't listen, he just drove away as you fell to your knees and cried.

"Link, I love you" you mumble but tears choke your throat. Stevie comes out of her office and pats your back.

"It'll be okay, want me to drive you home? You can try to call link but he may just need some space. He'll believe you, trust me" you nod and she drives you home.

You wave goodbye and run up to your room, you bury your face into the pillow.

"I miss you, Link.

I miss knowing you love me.

I miss knowing.

Now I'm not so sure."
