Fast forward a few weeks, and you can just move your fingers and hands a bit.

You can talk now, though you can do anything too big; such as walking or even giving Link a hug.

He hasn't left your side unless he needs to. He still goes to work, but usually leaves early.

Rhett doesn't visit as much, he doesn't want to see you like this, though you still thought it was quite sad that he didn't see you. And it wasn't that he wanted to see you, actually... you wanted to see him more.

Today link came into the room and you smiled at him.

"Hey, (Y/N)... how you doing?" You smile wider.

"Good... I just wish I could move my arms again."

"I do too... I miss you so much." He says, a small tear drop rolling down his cheek.

He leans down and kisses your forehead.

"I know, but I'll be out here before yo-"

There's nothing you could've done! Okay, I know you miss me but I will get better! I promise. I have to go to my PT meetings and soon enough I'll be back on my feet, running to give you a hug just like normal.
