I've been waiting for you.

Coby x gorgon! Reader.

*thanks for the request! I have quite a few of Coby request. XD. I never thought he'd be popular, but thank you all for loving him and his Snakey butt.

Reader has snake hair just like Coby and she turns people to stone as well!

You were beyond annoyed right now, every time you went on a date they either ran away from you or they would look into your eyes, making them die.

Why couldn't you at least have one good date?

One of your dates was going well but again, he ran out when he saw all fourteen of your snakes glare at him when he made a suggestive comment.

You were about to give up on dating for awhile, there just wasn't anyone who could get past your stone heart, or your gaze.

You patted some of your girls heads, they looked at you sympathetically.

They hisses sadly, as you walked to the kitchen to get a TV dinner.

Another boring and lonely night for you it was, wasn't it?

You tossed it into the microwave, tapping your claws against the counter as you waited.

As it beeped, you took it out of the microwave and into the living room.

As you watched random crap on TV your phone beeped.

You picked it up and read the text.

[Hey y/n! You will not believe this! I set you up on a blind date with a really cool guy I know! I think you'll really like him! He loves snakes! :3]

It was from your best friend, another blind date? Oh no what has she done this time.

You texted her back. [Oh really? When is my date then?]

[Now. Get dressed and meet me at the monster bar!]

You looked at your TV dinner for a second then you threw it in the trash, you hadn't eaten much of it anyway.

You ran to your room to get dressed, hopefully he wouldn't run out on you like all of the others have.

You stood outside of the bar, still trying to think this over.. You took in a deep breath, and walked in, making sure not to look anyone in the eyes.

Your snakes guided you in search of your friend.

"Hey! Y/n! Over here!" She calls.

You follow the direction of her voice, and eventually find her, you sit next to her, still keeping your head down.

"There you are! What took you so long?" She asks.

"I took the long way around, just to settle my nerves."

She nods. "He'll be here in a few, I'll hang out with ya while we wait."

"Is there anything you should warn me about?"

She shakes her head. "No, but he's a flirt. And he makes snake puns."

You groan. "Ugh.  But puns are stupid.."

"Oh c'mon, your smiling. You like some of them I know you do!"

You roll your eyes.

After about ten minuets of catching up, and sharing stupid stories, a man sat across from you.

"Holy crap, you're even prettier in person."

Your friend smirks then leaves your table. "Text me how it goes!"

"Why are you hiding your face?"

"..I I don't want to scare you." You say bashfully.

He chuckles and puts a hand under your chin making you see his face.

You couldn't believe it... He was a grogon as well!? And a male... That was rare..

He wore red sunglasses, a black leather jacket, golden chain necklace, green undershirt, and black leather pants.

He smiles and takes off his sunglasses, revealing his pretty eyes.

"Don't worry you won't ssscare me away, my name's Cobra Medusa. You can call me Coby for short." He winks.

You blush. He was a charmer too.. And something about his voice was attractive..

"Its nice to meet you coby, I'm y/n."

"It'sss nice to meet you too, nice snakes. You have way more than I have, I only got twelve." He chuckles.

His snakes look at yours clearly attracted to your vibrant f/c snakes.

"You should really wear sssunglasses, then people can't look you in the eyes."

You smile. "Thank you, and yeah that's a good idea."

You both chatted for hours, you've grown to really really like him, he was walking you home now.

You were cold blooded, and it was cold out so he put his coat around your shoulders.

You could see the scales on his bare arms, and a tattoo of a cobra wrapped around a skull was also on his forearm.

You both stopped on your porch.

"I've had an amazing time, thank you Coby."

He smiles. "You're welcome, I'm glad you had fun. I'd love to sssee you again."

You smile and hug him. "Me too." You pull away and kiss his cheek.

His green blush returns. "See you around y/n." He winks and walks down the sidewalk.

You wave goodbye and enter your home, but that's when you realised you still had his jacket on.

Your smile widened. He was a keeper, there was going to be a second date, that's for sure.
