Wanting to avoid any suspicion, I quickly wiped away my tears and exited the cellar, trying my best to compose myself.

After an agonising walk back to the living room, I found that Josh had prepared us a steak dinner. I saw the sharp, serrated knifes in his hands as they glinted in the light. Josh smiled at me and gestured to the meal.

"What do you think?" he grinned, pride and excitement within his eyes.

"Looks great," I lied. I quickly thought back as to what I had planned in my head as Josh plated up our meals, trying to remain inconspicuous. Josh handed me my plate, knife, and fork, and I took it. Now.

"Thank you, Josh," I falsely smiled. Before he could move away from me, I flicked the knife towards him, pointed directly at his jugular. Moving as quickly as me, he attempted to snatch the knife away from me, but I reacted before he could grab it and moved backwards, creating proximity between us. I placed the plate and fork on the table next to me.

"Rose, what are you doing?" Josh lowly asked, warning me to rethink what I intended to do. I gulped shakily and pointed the knife at him further.

"I know what you've hidden underneath your office," I shakily revealed, swallowing back my need to cry. Josh's face didn't budge, and he only continued to stare at me. Finally, a small smirk twitched upon his face.

"Took you long enough," he joked. His smile dropped as I turned the knife and held it against my throat, ready to tear it out. He raised his hands upward to show he wasn't a threat to me.

"I CAN'T DO IT THIS ANYMORE, JOSH. I WANT TO BE FREE!" I sobbed, my eyes studying the demon before me. His face remained blank, slowly walking closer and closer to me.

"You can't escape, Rose. This entire world- universe is based off of my design. It's not as simple as cutting your throat. Why the fuck do you think I've left knives and medication lying around, huh? Cause I trust you?" he yelled out, grabbing me by my shoulders. I cried harder, dropping the blade and to my knees. He's got to be lying.

"Please, Josh, please... I don't want to become just another corpse," I whispered, gripping his shorts as I bawled my eyes out. I looked up, my red eyes meeting his. "Please, just get rid of these bloody memories. Give you what you wanted from the start! A love spell, I don't care! Just give me freedom from this pain!" I cried out. He pulled me up, staring into my eyes.

"You need to learn to love me. Wiping memories won't do shit. You'll still be miserable and suicidal," he admitted. We stared into each other's eyes for a bit, allowing everything to sink in. I know what I need to do.

"I guess it's time to say goodbye," I murmured to myself before kissing Josh passionately.

Josh was taken back by her actions, but none the less pleased. She's mine, finally. He kissed her back, hugging her tightly as she jumped and wrapped her legs around his waist. He slammed her against the nearest wall as his lips connected against her soft skin, nipping and kissing. Butterflies exploded from Roses's stomach, small moans escaping her lips as Josh attacked her throat and his hands travelling her body. She pulled off his shirt, leaving hickies along his skin. He groaned loudly, the high and ecstasy of having her lips against his skin an honour and an addiction.

His hands slipped under her shirt, the coolness of his hands against the heat of her body was a marvellous combination as he touched her body. They continued their journey into the bedroom, Josh not wasting a minute to push her down against the bed and attack her throat once more with his lips. Rose eagerly and desperately entwined her fingers within his dampened locks, clenching as the intimacy grew stronger in conjunction with her need for him. He identified her sweet spot and continually kissed it, driving Rose's arousal deeper and deeper as his warmth breath made her tingle and grip the sheets out of tension. She couldn't go back now.
