(Your POV)
__________

6:00-8:00 was usually the time when monsters would flood in.

Some monsters would sit alone, and others would sit with friends.

You feel like the beauty of monsters is that none of them are alike. Some look like cats and others dogs, they all dress differently than each other.

You loved monsters because they were so nice. None of them had a mean soul. Most of them wouldn't hurt anyone.

You started doodling on a napkin because what else is there to do?

You just started drawing scribbles on it.

You suddenly hear the ring on the door causing you to look up.

You smiled at him. One of the most stressed out monsters you know.

"Mr. Burgerpants!" You exclaimed as you see him.

You could already see the bags under his eyes as he walked up to you.

"Hey (Y/n)." Burgerpants greeted you tiredly.

He apparently works for Mettaton, the biggest star in the world.

"The usual?" You ask him sweetly.

He nodded just as Toriel did.

You made your way to the coffee machine.

His usual basically was a strong black coffee. Plain.

You always add some creamer, so he doesn't die of the bitterness.

"Hey, Mr. Burgerpants, why but spice things up a bit? Maybe I could add some creamer." You would ask him some days. He would usually say no thanks or just shake his head.

A ding sounded and you grabbed the coffee.

You put a lid on it and put a straw in there.

You put it down in front of him and grabbed a cookie from the cookie jar that your had left on the counter.

"The cookie is on the house." You say as you hand it to him.

He gave you a smile, though it was small, it was still there.

He took the cookie from your hand.

And he made his way back to the door.

"Have a good day, Mr. Burgerpants!" You yell just as he left.

And then the small shop was filled with silence once again.
