Misha's Ethan.

Chapter 12

Ethan's POV:

A few days before the marriage....

Since the day my prank has backfired on me, all I could think about is how caring will she be if I'm the one whom she loves very deeply. Everybody got the taste of her love except me. Even the caterer of the hospital and even her dog. That made me get all angry and possessive over her.

I'm so jealous.

Even though most of the time we spend arguing, my mind craves for her presence next to me always. I have to make sure that she is next to me and she should smile because of me not because of any other reason. The day she came downstairs with her dog in her hands in her night dress and the concern she had in her eyes about me when her mom said that I slept at the entrance of their house the previous night made me decide to keep her next to me no matter what.  because she became my strength unknowingly. And my underground life is currently peaceful but I'm on high alert despite that because peace is something which creates suspicions in Mafia leaders indicating that something huge is going to happen in future. 

The only person I bow my head to is my grandfather. Because of him, I am who I am right now.

"Grandpa, do you think it is right to marry Misha? I mean I'm happy to get married to her and make her as my wife but is it still right to marry her?"

"It is the right age to get married Ethan. There's no better occasion than this. I will do what is right for you everytime. Keep that in mind." He said the last part hard enough for me to flinch.

"Grandpa, how did you and grandma survived the arranged marriage? Why did you marry her out of all the women you have come across? I don't think I'm mature enough to handle this situation?"

He smiled softly and said,

"If you won't learn now, when will you learn? After you get old? Ethan, it is high time to take the responsibility. You know, when I met your grandmother, I was just like you. Careless and always partying. My father has planned a sudden marriage with her to which almost I have created the third world war at my home. My father's words were the final ones to which I had no option but to agree. After the marriage, your grandmother has changed me into a better person. It was her love and patience on me which made me like this. Responsible and caring. In less than an year, we got twins, your dad Calum and your uncle Austin. Though she is no more and I am very close to meeting her again, the one and only girl who is made for you will change you. Her love will change you. Completely. I thought that Misha is the one who can change you. So that's why, I have fixed this marriage. And not to forget, you have to break this news to her."

I had mixed emotions in my mind. Do I really think that I can handle a responsibility of getting married? How does he know that Misha is the one for me? Is she really the one for me or she is acting like she is the one?

With all these thoughts in my mind, my eyes closed and my brain shut down.

I ran. Ran as fast as I could. My throat went dry and so is my tongue. Just a glass of water is enough for me to resume my run. I have hid myself behind a lamppost and I have heard voices from the men screaming

"Get that filthy child and kill him. Boss will give us a huge prize when we take his head to his den."

My body started shivering badly and I ran into the nearby park with all the energy I have in me.

The people who are chasing me are my uncle's men. Mom and dad have died in an accident which I know is a pre planned murder that was done by my uncle Austin. He was behind my dad's property as he had spent his share in casinos, drugs and strip clubs. He has got a daughter whom he wants me to marry so that he can have the dad's property. Once he gets a hold on the property, he will kill me and he will find another rich man to get him married to his daughter and the process goes on and on until he quenches his thirst for money bags and gold coins.
