"Woah" is all I managed to say as I arrived at Handlebar Motorsports. The last time I had seen this place it was barely getting off the ground and didn't have hardly anything for inventory, but now I counted at least 35 dirt bikes out front, all from different brands, 8 side by sides, also different brands, 25 quads and 5 snowmobiles. And that was just our front! I walk in through the tinted glass doors and am greeted with a massive showroom with everything you can imagine! "I thought my shop was nice, but this is like a 5 star hotel compared to our 3 star motel." Immediately past the showroom on the right side wall was where all the motocross gear was located. "What do I want, what do I want, what do I want, all of it. What do I need, what do I need, what do I..." and my eyes fell on a pair of Fly pants and a matching shirt. Green, blue, black, purple, and yellow assorted shapes on a red and orange background. "...yes!" I quickly grab the uniform when I see a nearly matching Fly carbon fiber helmet. "Holy crap I'm gonna look like a unicorn threw up on a butterfly sanctuary......but that's fine." Last things I feel like I need are a chest protector and a pair of boots. "I'm on a roll with this Fly stuff," I said grabbing a Fly chest protector. It's not the most hardcore protector, but I only need something that will keep my bars from breaking my ribs in the event I case a jump. Last was the boots, and holy crap they had a whole room dedicated just to racing boots! Fox, TCX, Alpinestars, Forma, Gaerne, Thor, anything and everything! I decided to break the whole Fly theme and bought a pair of Alpinestars Tech 7s. I took all my stuff up to the counter to check out, arms absolutely loaded, but there is a certain feeling you get when you're carrying new gear around, the smell, the glossy looks, no scuffs whatsoever, it's kind of magical in a way. "That be it for you today sir?" Said the mountain lion behind the counter as I laid my stuff down. "It?" I said. "There's almost $600 worth of stuff here! I would hardly call that it hahaha." "Would you like to get a bike or a quad with all this?" He said. "Oh my God hahahaha!" I said, throwing my head back laughing. "I might as well at this point huh? Hahaha! But no, I got one already, that's about all I have apparently." "If you insist sir. Your total for today is $585.68." Luckily I had seen this coming before I went inside so I already had plenty of cash in my paws. "Thank you sir, have a good day!" I hear him say as I turn my back. "And you as well!" I return, exiting out of the door, but not before taking a glance at a brand new 2019 Kawasaki KX450. "Damn, that's a sleek bike."
