Jake's P.O.V

Last night was one of the best night's in my life. I haven't laughed so hard in a while. Diana was super pissed at me. Telling her it was a costume party for charity was the best thing I ever did. You should have seen her beautiful little face. She was so mad.

I glanced at the time on my watch. It was now 11 and she still hasn't reached. As I took up my phone to call her my door burst open and she walked. She placed my coffee down and threw the bagel at me.

"Good morning my beautiful little witch" I got up and made my way towards her. I grabbed onto her waist and pulled her closer to me.

"Don't touch me!" She said pulling away. "I'm going to destroy you Jake Grant" She said frowning. I leaned forward and kissed her forehead.

"Are you going to get me locked up again beautiful?"

"I hate you Jake"

"The feeling is mutual my litt-"

"Don't you dare to call me your witch again!" I laughed and pulled her into a kiss. She looks so cute when she's upset. After pulling away I took a seat.

"I have a meeting tonight and you are expected to be there" she crossed her arms and took a seat adjacent of mine.

"A meeting? At night?" I nodded in response. She leaned back in her chair and took a deep breath. "I have never heard of peo-"

"Diana go get your work done" she's  always so inquisitive and cute. I got up and walked towards my window. This woman is so amazing. I would never think of falling for someone this amazing. She light to my darkness. I took out my phone from my pocket and glanced at the screen as it rung. My mom was calling. I slid the screen and answered

"Hey mom. How are you?"

"Why didn't you tell me you were seeing someone?"

"Surprise mom. Surprise"

"You better make sure this girl is of a high class family!"

"She's my assistant mom... and I like her. I really don't care what you say or think mother"

"This girl is going to use you son. That's what people of her class do!"

"Goodbye mom. Love you" I said before hanging up. I don't know why she wants me to date some rich girl. She looks down on girls like Diana. It's as if she considers them to be less than me... but I don't view things that way. I don't care what she thinks, but I will date Diana whether or not she likes it.

Diana's P.o.v

I handed the files to the secretary and walked off.

"Chris why are you following me?" I asked rolling my eyes.  He has been following me around the office for three minutes now. It's like he has nothing to do.

He is such a nice person, but he talks too much and I just want some peace.

"Listen to this joke Two muffins are in an oven, one turns to the other and says, Oh boy it's getting hot. The other muffin says AAAAAAAAAAA! a talking muffin!" He started dying with laughter. I rolled my eyes at him again.

"Really Chris? Don't you have anything better to do?" I stopped and faced him.

"I would rather stay here and stare at your face" he placed his arm around my shoulder. "We are the best of friends right now Diana"

I just pray Jake doesn't see us because I can't bother with him and all the drama. I wonder what type of meeting he will be taking me to tonight. He is so weird sometimes. I have never heard of meetings being held late in the night. Maybe he is trying to trick me so that I can go to his house.
