Diana's P.o.v

I frowned as I walked towards my desk. A huge bunch of tulips of different colors sat there comfortably.  I frowned as I placed down my bag and read the card.

Love? I'm not sure what that is, but I know when I'm around you I have these feelings I've never have before. I kinda meant for this to be a poem, but I stuck l suck at that.  I'm working on it though, but I promise to show you how much I care.

My face immediately changed into a smile. Now you would think that he would buy roses. Red roses. At least that's what most men buy, but I'm glad he didn't buy roses.

"You look beautiful today" his voice said from behind me. I spun around and faced him. He stepped closer to me. "Do you like them?"

"Like? I love them! They are so beautiful!" He laughed and shove his hands in his pocket. He kept his gaze on me and it made me nervous. The room was silent. All you could here was the ticking of the clock on the wall. I stared back at him, not even losing focus for once. I kept wondering why he likes me. I'm not as beautiful as all those models and movie stars he's been with. I'm different. Their clothes are expensive, while mine are cheap. Latest cars. They own that. I'm just a simple girl. I have nothing. Why would a billionaire fall for me?

"I'm trying to decide between you and the flowers... who do you think is more beautiful?" I rolled my eyes at him, but didn't answer his question. He took one more step towards me causing me to gasp. His body was now touching mine.

"Wh... what are you doing?" I asked taking a step back. He held onto my waist and pulled me in closer to him. Our bodies pressing against each other. "I haven't... kissed anyone before you" I replied softly. He looked at me in surprise.

"Really? Well I guess that makes me lucky then" he smiled. He leaned his face closer to mine in order to kiss me . I quickly placed my hand on his lips to stop him.  

"No kissing in the office. Mr Grant"

"Then maybe we should leave the office" he smirked. I rolled my eyes and pulled myself from his arms. "I want to take you out"

"As in outside?" He smiled and shoved his hands on his pocket. He paced the floor slowly. He stopped and faced me.

"A date. I want to take you out on a date. Is that how guys ask? Or... will you go on a date with me? Will you go out with me? I'm not really sure." I started laughing at his question. It's weird coming from him. I mean seriously who doesn't know how to ask out women?

"Hmmm... a date? Let me think about it... no I'm too busy"

"Diana. Please... I'm begging you"

"Oh my God! The powerful Jake Grant is begging me! I'm shocked!" He smiled and shook his head.

"You love to overreact don't you?" I bit my nails and smiled at him, then nodded slowly. " That's what I like about you. I will try my best until you let me in, Miss Welsh... and I promise you that when you do you will never want to let me go"

"We will see about that" he glanced down at his watch and frowned.

"It's getting late and I have to call my  mother before she gets super upset" he gave me a small kiss on my cheek and that made me blush real hard

Two hours later

Jake's P.o.v

I have been nominated for businessman of the year again for three times in a row. I doubt I will be attending the awards show this year. I guess I'll just have to send Lyle to represent me.

I looked down on my phone as it vibrated. A message from Katrine came in. I immediately felt irritated. No matter how much times I change my number she finds some way of getting it back. Right now I just need her out of my life. There's only one person on my mind, and that's Diana.

I looked up as my door opened. A huge smile spread across my face when she walked in. I licked my lips, then moved towards her.

"Is it okay if I go for lunch a little early today?" I asked. I glanced at my watch. 11:30.

"Let's go together" she immediately shook her head.

"I don't feel like going to lunch with you because you are crazy"

"It normally takes one crazy person to know one cutie" she rolled her eyes and walked out. The truth always hurts. I love it when she rolls her eyes.  It makes her look super cute. I grabbed my keys then we left the office. I pulled up at an italian restaurant.

We both ordered pasta and noodles. I took notice of a guy seated at a table beside us kept looking at Diana. He seemed to be in his early twenties. I already felt the jealousy creeping over me. She kept smiling at him in order to piss me off

"You really like it when I get angry don't you?" I asked frowning.

"I can't smile at people no more?" I shook my head in response. "Well too bad you can't tell me what to do" I raised my hand and signalled for the waitress to come. When she did I started flirting with her.

"You look stunning! Wow! You take my breath away. I've been meaning to tell you ever since I walked in" I licked my lips seductively and raised my eyebrows. Somehow that made her blush real hard and I could tell by Diana's expression she was disgusted.
"What do you say I give you my nu-"

"Oh shut up Jake" she interrupted. I looked over at me and smirked. "I get your point now let's go" she said in anger. she got up and stormed out of the restaurant. Upon reaching outside she turned towards me and smiled. I knit my eyebrows at her. Before I knew it she snatched my keys.

"Catch me if you want it" she then ran off. She ran towards the cops across street. I chased behind her, but it was hard for me to catch up.

"Miss Welsh get your ass right!" I shouted as I ran after her. Upon reaching the cops she stopped and to my surprise she started fake crying. I walked towards them and crossed my arms. "Let's go Diana!"

"Yo... you have to help me. This man is trying to kidnap me" she cried. If I didn't know she was lying I would believe her. She is such a good actress. "H... he tried... to hurt me" I took one step towards her, but one of the cops stopped me.

'Stay away from the lady" he ordered

"Do you know who I am?! I am Jake Grant!"

"Sure you are" the other guard laughed. I could see a smile creeping up on Diana's face. As I stepped towards her again the guard grabbed on to me and before thinking about my actions I punched him dead in the face and because of that I got arrested! I am definitely going to kill her when I get out!
