Diana's P.o.v

"You are so lucky I talked her out of pressing charges against you!" Jake shouted. It felt so good beating her ass again. I don't even know why I attacked her. I just felt like doing it.

"Why was she even at your house?" I asked crossing my arms. He looked over at me in surprise, then back at road.

"I'm sure you already know"

"The bitch is obsessed with you" he didn't respond. He just kept his eyes focused in front of him. About ten minutes later we pulled up at his house.

"Next time you attack her I will not beg her to spare you"

"But you will" I smiled. He shook his head then went to bed. That whore had everything coming to her.

The next morning

Jake and I arrived at work together. I went to grab coffee for both of us when I ran into Chris at the lunch room.

"You have been really scarce lately. I hardly see you again, Diana "

"It's just that I've been busy with work. I hardly even have time for myself"

"I see that... everytime I ask you out you are busy" I took up the cups and walked towards the elevator with him following behind me.

"I will have dinner with you tonight. Meet me at the restaurant down the road. As soon as I'm finished working I'll be there" I took the coffee to Jake. He was standing at the window gazing out of space. I placed the coffee on his desk and went to stand beside him.

"What's going through your head?" I asked. He faced me and smiled.

"Why would you assume I'm thinking about something?"

"Everytime you are here. I know you have something on your mind" he laughed and went to take a seat.

"I just have a lot on my mind... so much decisions to make. Wondering if they will ever be the right one. Deciding whether or not I will let some people in. My mom is expecting so much from me. I know I already make her proud but-" he took a deep breath. "Let it be. I left some files on your desk for you to sort out"

"O... okay. By the way I don't need you dropping me home later"

"Why is that?"

"I have a date with Chr-"

"Well cancel because I need you to work overtime"

"What?! Can't I do that tomorrow? Plus you didn't even mention you wanted me to work overtime."

"I don't care so go tell him you won't be able to make it" he then turned his back towards me. I just felt like squeezing the life from him. He is so annoying. I'm sure Chris will think I'm trying to avoid him... Well... not that I'm not trying to avoid him I am, but he has been really nice to me. I know Jake is trying to spite me. He's such an ass. I got up and stormed out of the room.

Jake's P.o.v

A date. She wants to on a fucking date with some stupid guy! Is she crazy?! Well not under my watch. I made it clear to her no relationship with any employee! I am so pissed right now. I really don't have any work for her to do overtime, but I will definitely find some because she's not going out with that asshole. Not under my watch.

I don't need her getting into stupid relationships. I honestly don't know why the hell I'm so pissed about this. She always finds some way to get me pissed. She is so annoying. I really don't know why she gets me like this.

I walked out to her work area. She looked up at me and frowned, but I honestly could care less.

"You know I don't care if you're angry with me right?"

"You're the worst boss anyone can have. I really hate you"

"I'm glad you feel that way. You will finish work at 10 tonight and I will let you take the bus all by yourself"

"You wouldn't dare. I will sleep right in your office Jake"

"The only way I'm taking you home is if you be nice to me... and you have to smile for the rest of the day" she rolled her eyes and continued to do her work.

Hours later

Diana sat in the front seat beside me. She kept staring daggers at me. I kept smiling as I drove. The traffic was so thick and the rain was pouring. We rode in silence until I spoke.

"I still can't believe you're mad because I didn't let you go out with that weird guy"

"He's not weird he's my friend" i laughed at her statement.

"Friends? Yeah right. You have a weird friend"

"You're an ass. I honestly don't know why you are dropping me home.  You should have just let me take the bus"

"As you wish" I parked the car at the side of the road. "Out." She looked at me in surprise. I will definitely teach her a lesson. "Get out before I take you out. You can always catch the bus"
After a while she finally got out and slammed the door. I drove off without looking back.

I know y'all complaining that chapters are too short but I really don't wanna make it super long that you guys will be like... when is this bitch gonna end.
