"Mr. Shekhawat it's a case of depression. Your wife is a patients of depression." The psychiatrist said after checking Sanyukta. Randhir was shocked to listen this.
"Depression! Meri Sanyu ko depression!" Randhir was too shocked to react.
"Yes Mr. Shekhawat which I saw she is that much depressed. I think something is eating her from inside, I think she hide lot's of pain inside her, that's why she was suffering this extend and she became lifeless." Doctor said which broke Randhir from inside.
"Doctor my Sanyu will be fine na?" Randhir asked with lot's of hope in his eyes.
"Look Mr. Shekhawat I don't want to give false hope to you, truth is the chance of recovering of your wife is very less." Doctor said thus he skipped a beat.
"What's the chance doctor?" He asked hesitantly.
"90-10 and I can't assured you that too, I'm sorry." Randhir just froze there to listening the doctor.
He felt the ground underneath of his feet was shaking and everything was in front of his eyes get blurred. He hold the wall for support as his own feet betrayed him now.
"Meri Sanyu pagal!" He murmured that under his breath.
"Look Mr. Shekhawat, I know it's a tough job for anyone to see their loved ones like this, but please be strong, I already wrote the medicines please give her that time to time and pray for her, that's the best medicine. All the best." Said this doctor left from there when Randhir stood there numb.
After sometimes he came to their room and saw her sitting silently. He wiped his tears and smiled at her but don't get a smile in return.
"See baby what doctor said, that you are in a last stage of depression and you won't be fine again. Bloody nonsense. I don't believed a single word of him, he is fake, we will go to a specialist, okay baby!" He tried to assure her but the fact is he was tried to convince himself.
It's now 3 days after Randhir confessed everything to her. But she don't react for once. Randhir noticed that she was sitting in a single place all the day, she can't face the lights as it burnt her eyes as she hiding herself in a dark room for very long time. she also stopped talking to everyone. She always wanted to hide herself in a darkest corner of a dark room.
Randhir sensed something wrong and called their family physician, who suggests him for the psychiatrist after checking her. Randhir was shocked to listen him and got agreed for sake of Sanyukta's health but what doctor said he don't imagine that in his worst nightmare.
Randhir looked at Sanyukta who now stared at the floor blankly, doctors words rang in his ears again and again and his eyes got moist and he hugged her tightly.
"I'm sorry baby, please come back." His voice was broke which was unheard by her again.

Day's rolled on but there is no sign of any improvement in Sanyukta's health. She was still as same before. She don't talk to anyone, not even her plants and whisky too. She used to sit in a dark room as she can't tolerate the lights now.
Randhir was always sunk in own guilt, the realization that he is the soul reason behind her this condition made him as a criminal in his own eyes. Randhir was trying hard to make her normal in every possible way but all his attempt were futile.
It's another day when Randhir came back to office. He direct go towards their room and saw her sitting on the couch.
"Baby I'm home." He kissed her forehead gently but she can't reply.
He sighed and came out from the room to hide own pain. He was walking absentmindedly when his eyes fall on a closed door. It's the room of their unborn baby. Randhir open the door and entered. He looks at the room and his eyes got moist remembering how they were excited once to welcome the new member in their life.
"If you are here baby then the whole scenario is something else today!" He wiped his eyes and open the cupboard. He saw the woollens which were made by Sanyukta once for their baby.
"How can I blamed you for our babies death when it's always you who loved our baby these much!" He said and caressed those woollens.
Suddenly his eyes fall on a pair of baby pink socks which was incomplete. Randhir remember Sanyukta was knitted this pair when that incident happened. He take a sigh and go towards their room with that pair of incomplete socks.
"Sanyu look what I found! The pair of socks, recognized it?" He asked excitedly showing her that socks.
"Remember I used to fought with you when you knitted something for the baby! As I thought you used to love the baby most more than me and felt jealous and started fighting with you just like a kid." He smiled between his tears.
"You was right, I was no less then a baby then!" He tried to cherishing their golden moments which they spend together.
"But Sanyukta this is incomplete, don't you wish to finish it baby?" He asked when sit beside her but she kept mum.
"Sanyu isska keya karna hain?" He asked with a hope that she at least react but he was shocked next to listen her.
"Phek do!" Came her cold reply when a drop rolled down from his eyes.
