Chapter 27

"Patient ko hosh aah geya hain." A nurse came and said this to Parth thus he rushed to her cabin. Parth entered at the cabin when Sanyukta looked at him when he came near her and stood beside the bed.

"Hey how are you feeling now? Tumne toh dara hi diya tha hume!" Parth tried to be sound normal and forced a smile but his smile vanished next listening her words.

"Kyu bachaya mujhe?" Came her almost inaudible voice.

"Sanyukta!" Parth became shocked to listening her.

"Kyu nehi jane diya mujhe aapne beti ke pass? She needs me, she needs me." She mumbled when a tear rolled down from her eyes.

"We also need you Sanyukta, hum sabko vi tumhari jarurat hain." Parth said that in a shaky voice when wiped her tears.

"No one needs me no one loves but my baby do." She said weakly.

"No Sanyukta we all love you we all need you. Please don't say like that." Parth said when his eyes became moist to saw her like that.

"Mujhe meri beti ke pass jana hain, mujhe jana hain uske pass." She became restless when started breathing heavily.

"Doctor." Parth screamed became panicked when the nurse called the doctor.

"Doctor please do something, dekhiye Sanyukta ko keya ho geya!" Parth said as the doctor came there.

"Ohh no she is sinking. Nurse injection quick." Doctor said worriedly and injected her next thus Sanyukta slept under the effects of the medicine.

"Doctor what happened to Sanyukta? Aapne toh kaha tha that she is out of danger then suddenly what happened?" Parth asked worriedly.

"Mr. Kashysp the surgery was successful but Mrs. Shekhawat is a poor health problem which effects on her heart too. I think she was continuously skipped her meal that too from very long which made her body weak as well as heart too. I already told you that she need good take care now both physically and mentally. Kisi vi tarha ki excitement unke liye harmful ho sakti hain, we must lose her too. So please take care of her aur iss baat ka kheyal rakhiye ga ke wo jyada excited na ho paye." Doctor said when Parth froze there listening all this.

Randhir and Vidushi came back at the house and went to their respective rooms. Randhir entered at the room when his gaze fall on the mirror and his eyes fall on his shirt which turned red now due to her blood and the guilt inside him raising again. He sat down on the bed with a thud when her photo caught his attention.

"Main toh bass phirse tumhe hasta-khelta dekhna chahata tha Sanyukta lekin mujhe keya pata tha ke main tumhe phirse dard de dunga! Muhe toh bass aapna purana Sanyukta wapas chahiye tha aur kuch nehi lekin mujhe keya pata tha ke uss koushis mein main tumhe hi khone wala tha! Aaj tum jiss haal mein ho mere wajase ho aur iske liye main aapne aap ko kabhi maaf nehi kar payunga, kabhi nehi." He said and broke down into tears hiding his face on his palm. He cried for sometimes then looked at her photo.

"But I promise aaj ke baad main tumhare aankhon mein kabhi aasu ka ek bund aane nehi dunga, kabhi nehi." He said determinedly hugging her photo.

Vidushi became freshen up quickly then went to call Randhir to eat something when he denied. Vidushi made him understand thus he ate slightly when Vidushi too ate something. Just when Vidushi's phone buzzed with Parth's number and he told her everything thus they both left for the hospital quickly. 

"Sanyukta aab kaisi hain Parth?" Randhir asked worriedly as they came to the hospital.

"Yeh tu puch raha hain usse iss condition mein pahuchane ke baad? Aaisa haal kar diya hain uska ke aab wo jeena hi nehi chahati!" Parth said furiously when Randhir was short of words.

"Keya kaha Sanyukta ne hosh mein aane ke baad?" Vidishi asked slowly.

"Sirf ek baat ke wo aab jeena nehi chahati usse aapne beti ki pass jana hain." Parth said coldly when Randhir became froze there.

"Doctor ne keya kaha?" Vidushi asked again when Parth told them everything thus earth slipped beneath Randhir's feet.

"Aur sab kuch isski wajase." Parth said pointing towards Randhir. "She was continuously skipped her meal, was neglected her health since so long aur uske pati ko kabhi kuch pata hi nehi chala, bravo!" Parth clapped sarcastically when Randhir stood there hanging his head low.

"You know what Randhir today Sanyukta is on her death cot only for you. You are responsible for her this situation, only you." Parth said bitterly when Randhir was dying in guilt.

"Parth don't say like that Sanyukta will be fine. Wo jarur thik ho jayegi tum dekhna." Vidushi assured him.

"Aab toh bass ummed hi kar sakte hu Vidushi." Parth said in a broken voice.

"How is Sanyukta now?" Vidushi asked with a trembling heart.

"Doctor ne usse injection diya hain so she is sleeping now." Parth replied slowly.

"Wo jaldi hosh mein aah jayegi Parth don't worry." Vidushi assured him again.

"Vidushi tum aabhi Parth ko ghar leke jau wo tired hoga, main hu yeha par." Randhir said slowly.

"Tujhe meri fikar karne ki koi jarurat nehi hain, jiski karni chahiye thi uska fikar toh kabhi nehi kiya aab teri yeh sympathy hume nehi chahiye, na mujhe aur nahi Sanyukta ko. Aur waise vi main Sanyukta ko iss halat mein aakela chhod kar kahi nehi jayunga." Parth said firmly.

"Parth try to understand tu subha se yeha hain bhukha aur peyasa, ghar jake thoda rest kar le main tab tak yeha Sanyukta ke pass hu." Randhir requested to him.

"I won't." Parth said firmly. "Waise vi I can't trust you anymore. Aaj teri wajase Sanyukta ka yeh halat hain aab keya chahata hain usse jaan se marna?" Parth said with full of hatred when Randhir heart winched in pain.

"Parth please don't say like that, Sanyukta is everything for me, zindegi hain wo meri." Randhir said in a broken voice.

"Haan tabhi tune uski jeene ki ichchha hi chhin li." Parth said bitterly when Randhir lowered his lashes.

"Vidushi isse le jau waise vi isski yeha koi jarurat nehi hain." Parth said sternly.

"But Parth tum yeha hospital mein nehi ruk sakte kyu ke authority sirf family member ko hi allow karegi so better Randhir ko yeha par rukne dete hain aur hum chalte hain, kaal subha aayenge." Vidushi said slowly.

"Am Sanyukta's only family now. Randhir ne yeh haq ussi din kho diya tha jiss din ussne Sanyukta ko dhoka diya tha so aab uske hone yeah phir na hone se koi pharak nehi padta." Parth said firmly.

"Shayed tu sahi bol raha hain Parth, maine aapna saara haq kho diya hain but still I have responsibilities towards Sanyukta aur wo karne se mujhe koi nehi rok sakta, tu vi nehi." Randhir said determinedly.

"Responsibilities, yeah right! Kaha tha tu aur teri responsibilities jab Sanyukta ko teri sabse jyada jarurat thi jo aab aaya hain responsibilities nivane?" Parth asked sternly.

"I know galti ho gayi thi mujhse, zindegi ki sabse badi galti. Jab Sanyukta ko meri sabse jyada jarurat thi tab main uske pass nehi tha lekin main wohi galti phirse nehi karunga. Aaj Sanyukta ko sabse jyada meri jarurat hain aur main usse iss halat mein aakela chhod kar kahi nehi jayunga." Randhir said firmly.

Parth about to say something when Vidushi stopped him and made him understand the situation thus Parth became agreed halfheartedly and left with Vidushi when Randhir went to Sanyukta's cabin.
