Chapter 7

Randhir came back to Delhi with Ishika after two days. From airport Ishika went back to her apartment when Randhir went directly towards the office as his boss Mr. Rao called him urgently.

"Good morning sir, what's so urgent?" Randhir asked as he entered to his bosses cabin.

"What the hell Randhir, you gave 15% discount to that Khanna when our margin is 10% only!" Mr. Rao all most barked at him.

"Sir Mr. Khanna is our old client so I think to gave him some more benefits." Randhir explained to his boss.

"So are many Randhir, tell me one thing do you want to give more benefits to the others companies too?" Mr. Rao asked sternly.

"No sir, I mean it's just matter of 5% sir and I did this for companies sake." Randhir tried to convince him.

"You are not the boss who take decisions hastily! Do you ever know what mess you create for us, do you even know what that 5% meant for this company, we lose lacks in fact more than that, cores! And others company also pressurised us for more benefits! You and only you are the reason behind this crap Randhir." Mr. Rao banged his feast on the table when Randhir stood there numb.

"Now I have to clear all the mess otherwise it'll be damage the image of company and as well as mine. You are the reason behind of it so I have to take strong action against you Randhir." Mr. Rao said when Randhir look at him surprisingly.

"Action! But sir I did this for company only!" He said shockingly.

"Randhir if I wish I can terminate you but I can't destroy your carrier, so I cancel your promotion only, go back to your previous post." Mr. Rao chipped sternly thus Randhir froze there.

"No sir you don't do this to me, it's about my carrier, my dreams....sir for me this company reach it's highest peak, I gave you the foreign clients, international deals. You can't do this to me sir! Sir please think twice!" Randhir almost begged in front of him.

"Randhir your past efficiency can't hide your present inefficiency. I can only do this for you, good luck." Mr. Rao said when Randhir look at him blankly.

Randhir came out from Rao's cabin slowly. Each and every dream of his life was shattered in front of his eyes, he felt all broken now. He came back to his cabin and look at his nameplate.

"It's can't be happened, it's can't happened with me!" He screamed and through the nameplate on the floor hard and started throwing everything kept on the table.

When he done he sat down with a thud, he ran his finger between his hairs and think what to do. Just then someone entered at his cabin.

"Hey Randhir what's happened bro? I heard that boss cancel your promotion?" Sameer asked with a cocky smile.

"Sameer I'm not in a mood, just get lost." Randhir gritted his teeth.

"Ohh come on Randhir, calm down, it's not happening. I know you must be sad for your demotion, I'm also feel sad for you but you should be happy for my promotion dude, after all we are colleagues and friend's too, can't I expect an appreciations from my friend!" Sameer said in a honey coated voice thus Randhir look at him surprisingly.

"Promotion?" He asked confusingly.

"Yes Randhir, boss promoted me in place of yours." He grinned at Randhir when he get stunned by his words.

"What, don't you want to congratulate to your friend for his credit?" Sameer smirked at him when he gritted his teeth.

"It's won't be happened!" He said to himself.

"It's all ready happened Randhir, except the fact that I'm the winner and you are the loser with capital 'L'. Now mind you left the cabin immediately and shifted at your old cabin, I have to redesign this, it's so messy here!" Sameer replied teasingly slightly stared at the room when Randhir hold his collar tightly.

"This cabin is mine as well as the promotion also, no one can snatch anything of me, understand!" He left him with a jerk and left from there when Sameer composed himself.

"I'll snatch everything close to your heart including your heart to dude!" And he smirked devilishly.
