"No way in hell am I going with you, Mina!" Anna screamed on the phone and I was starting to think I should check an otolaryngologist.

"Why not?" I questioned.

"I'm not going to ruin my best friend's potential moments with her boyfriend!"

"He's not my boyfriend!" I said indignantly.

I could visualize Anna roll her eyes as she began to speak, "I'm not going to the meeting place with you and Mark. Just tell me the address to go to the meeting place or better yet, I'll just go with Lily."

I groaned, "if you and Lily don't come, I'm going to be alone with Mark!"

"That's the point, Mina!"

"Lily already said she's going with the cheerleading club and if you go with them, I'd be alone!"

Anna laughed, "you're over exaggerating this, Mina. Wasn't there a meeting about this last Friday? We're all going in the same bus."

She was right. On Friday, the cheerleading squad, the baseball team and extra helpers (just Anna and I really) had a meeting about the training camp. According to Connor who sat beside me, the cottage was extremely large. Beside Connor was Ethan who waved at me. I waved back.

The meeting was held in the boy's change room because of the meeting was rather sudden as Mr. Ankles wanted to make sure everyone knew the procedures. It was the first time the cheer leading team was helping out. The meeting was going fairly decent, as jobs were being assigned to different people. Anna and I were mostly in charge of the clean-up and cooking because everyone else had training. We were outsiders, really. I wasn't sitting with Lily, but I was pretty sure she was checking out Mark and his every movement.

Ally...Ally was a few meters away from me...She was actually near the front where Mark was.

Mark was in front of the crowd and was explaining the procedures. He was oddly relaxed. I thought he would've been more shaken up that Ally was coming to the camp.

When Ally first entered the change room, he completely ignored her. Even when she waved at him, he only slightly nodded. He then came up to me to talk about the plans on Saturday. I was completely in distraught. I glanced at Anna who only made hugging gestures at the unraveling scene. I wanted to kill her but I stopped myself because I knew she was avoiding

Luke's deadly glances. He looked at Anna a lot. Which confused me greatly, did he like Anna or not?

I groaned as I recalled Friday's event.

"But, walking to the meeting place seems really far from where I live and I don't want to be alone with Mark."

"Please, you're going to be alone with him today, aren't you?" She emphasized the word today and I winced, "another day won't hurt, Mina."

Let's just say Anna and Lily weren't exactly please when I didn't tell them I was going to help Mark out with his food endeavours.

They actually found out during the meeting on Friday.

Mark had finished up explaining the set up for the week and had mentioned grocery shopping. He revealed that he would do most of the grocery shopping with me. Instantly, the baseball team, Anna, Lily and if my vision was correct, Ally were all shocked. Ethan was the only one to laugh, finding this amusing. Connor smiled and the baseball team sent me relieved looks like, "ah you finally did it, Mina." (was that a tear in Zac's eye?) Or, "good job Mina! I believed in you!" (Luke...I can't tell if that was sarcasm or not)
