I was lost.

Shit.

Really, my luck was amazing.

I had stopped crying like a fool and was going to walk back to the cottage, however I had no idea where I was going. I felt the more I walked, the more lost I got.

I checked my phone...I was about to call Anna but I stopped myself. I scrolled down to look at a different contact number. In simple letters, the word on my screen was: Mom ❤. I stared at the name on my phone. I clicked on her contact number and hit the text message button, I started to write something...however...I stopped myself. "How stupid."

Suddenly Ally appeared and I was shaken from the promise I made myself the day she left.

Really, why did I lash out the way I did? I should've been calmer. I frowned thinking about it, half an hour had passed since Ally left. The breeze that passed by me was nice.

These days have been so hectic, I forgot how nice it was to be alone.

Solitude.

It was a nice feeling. I sat by a nearby tree and stared at my screen. I then check to see if there were any missed calls, "well it's only been an half an hour."

Suddenly a text message popped on my phone.

It was Mark.

Where are you?

I stared at the name on my screen. Mark.

If you don't reply to me, you'll run 20 laps around the field.

"I'm not even a member of the baseball team."

When those words flew out of my mouth another text message came in.

Right, I forgot you're weak and not part of the baseball team, 50 laps.

Did the number just increase?! I laughed, "what the heck."

Instead of telling him I was lost like I should have, I gave him a short reply.

I'm fine

An instant response came in:

I didn't ask whether or not you're okay, I asked about your whereabouts.

I frowned, what an untactful guy.

Before I could tell him I was lost, my phone started to ring.

Startled, I lost grip on my phone a bit and then regain composure as I answered his call.

"Hey." Hearing Mark's voice on the phone was a bit unnerving as it felt like he was right beside me.

Before I could even respond, Mark continued speaking, "Mina, get the hell back to the cottage."

His voice was filled with annoyance. Oh crap, I might just have to run those laps.

My shoulders tensed, "alright, I'm not going to have to run laps, right?"

"You will."

I frowned, "why do I have too?!"

"You're idiocy is the problem."

"I'm not the only idiot here!"

"Mina, why in the hell did you walk with Ally?"

"It's a long story."

"She's crying right now."

"What!? Are you kidding me?" My voice was filled with irritation, "I didn't do anything to her!"
