I woke up unable to tell if I was feeling better or worse. I heard the familiar voice of Ginny Weasley talking to Aunt Molly. I smiled at her voice. Ginny was my best friend and has been since Kindergarten.

"I'll go check on her," Ginny said. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and looked at the door. I saw Ginny and Molly walk through the door. I whimpered at the continued pain in my stomach. I still felt extremely sick. Molly was the first to notice my whimpering and put and soothing hand on my back. I couldn't speak, I still felt too nauseated.

"How do you feel, dear?" Molly asked. I just whimpered and shook my head. I was going to be sick again, I just knew it. I felt the familiar feeling of the sick rising in my throat. I quickly pushed her back and the covers off of me and ran, knowing I wouldn't make it if I tried to explain. I made it to the toilet just in time. i sat down quickly and hung my head over the white bowl and closed my eyes, and opening my mouth. I was sick in the toilet and shaking very badly. I leaned back onto the wall, hearing the pitter-patter of feet coming closer to me again. I was sick one more time, as the two figures came in. I felt someone pick me up and lay me down in their arms, knowing that I was done and that I wouldn't be able to make my way back to the room. I finally opened my eyes and saw the worried brown eyes. I just laid my head on her chest, feeling weak and defeated. I heard the flushing of the toilet as I was being carried back to the room. She set me down on the bed. Ginny re-entered the room.

"Is she alright mum?" Ginny asked Molly.

"She will be alright. She's just got the bug that's been going around. That's why I gave you that antidote when you came in. Unfortunatally any wizarding healing potions or healing magic does not work on the poor dear. She was born with the power, and when she was cursed by You-Know-Who, she lost her ability of being healed by healing magic or non-muggle potions," Molly said.

"She's really pale," Ginny pointed out.

"Ginny, dear, could you please fetch me the thermometer," Molly asked her.

"Of course mum," Ginny said and she left the room. She returned shortly with the small metal device. Molly eased it under my tongue. I didn't resist it. We waited until the was a little beep. Molly pulled it out and was shocked by the number.

"Oh dear.... It's 103.2..." Molly cried. She poured a bit of the pink medicine again and handed it too me. I drank it and a sip of tea.

"Is it better or worse, mum?" Ginny asked with quite a bit of concern.

"It's worse," Molly said. Just then, the floo powder rose up. Molly walked over to see who it was, and who else should step out of the fireplace than-

"M-Min-Minnie?" I stuttered weakly and coughed. I looked at her, wondering how she knew where I was or what was going on. Molly was startled too.

"Let me guess, Hyria sent a patronus to you," Molly said knowingly. Minnie nodded.

"How are you, Ember?" Minnie asked. "How's her fever doing?"

"It's gotten worse.... I just gave her some Tylonal to help," Molly said. Minnie came up to me. "She's barely spoken since she's woken up. Poor girl's exhausted." Minnie looked at me knowingly, putting a hand on my forehead and quickly drawing it back. I reached for her hand. I wanted to hold her hand. I wanted to be able to say that everything was ok, but it wasn't. She grabbed my hand.

"She definitely looks that way. I'm just glad I didn't have classes now. Remus said he would be late today," Minnie said. Minnie conjured a chair and sat next to me. "I'm surprised Poppy wasn't chasing me into the fireplace." Minnie scooped me up and laid me comfortably on her lap. I laid there and allowed my eyes to close and found myself asleep in her arms.
