Astrid POV

He was Drago Bludvist's son. "That can't be possible!" I said.

"Well he did look like him, and he wanted our dragons..." Hiccup trailed off.

"Well we wont have to worry about him anymore because I killed him, at least I thought I did." I said to both Valka and Hiccup,"What if my axe only gave him a minor wound? He probably got back on his ship and retreated. He's probably out there planning what to do now!" I said, aggravated.

"And he probably has the bewilderbeast with him and probably has control of it. He could kill me the same way Drago tried to last time, but-" Hiccup broke off and sat down on his bed, head in his hands. I walked over to him and sat down with him, resting my head on his shoulder.

"I'm going to step out for a bit," Valka said, before she left.

"What are we going to do Hiccup?" I asked him.

Hiccup's POV

"I- I don't know Astrid." I said. We sat in silence for a while, but then I just snapped,"Why did Drago have to kill my dad! If he was here, he would know what to do right now! I don't know why I told him to listen to me. I should have been the one listening to him!"

I stood up and ran out of the house. I got on Toothless and flew far and high; above the clouds.

Once Toothless flew extremely high, I leaned back on his saddle, and screamed out of anger.

That's it.

I put Toothless' tail on auto and before I slid off, I told him to stay close, but now right next to me like he usually does.

I hurtled towards the ocean and I thought, why not just end it right now? I didn't open my wings, I just fell. Then I broke through the surface of the water and heard Toothless panicking directly above me, but I didn't surface. I didn't want to. I felt his claws grab my arms and I screamed at him to drop me, but he wouldn't listen.

He flew me to the nearest island and when he let go of me, I just yelled at him,"Why did you grab me and save me?! I could have just ended it right then! I'm going to die anyways..." Toothless gave me a look as if to say: Berk needs you! Your family needs you! I need you.

It was getting late, so I decided to sleep here for the night. I curled up against Toothless as he put his wings around me and fell asleep.
