Back Together Again

Tails POV

~Beep~ ~Beep~ ~Beep~

My alarm clock was blaring loudly in my ear. I slapped the button on the top of the small box to make the loud noise stop. I slowly and painfully rolled over in my bed and managed to open my light blue eyes. 

I looked up at the white and boring ceiling of my room. The light was blinding as it poured through the lamp next to my bed. The wind was slowly blowing through my open window. I looked over to see my alarm clock showing the time in red letters.

"Hey, buddy time to go to school! I and the others are already eating downstairs," I heard someone yell from my bedroom door.

"Alright, Knuckles! I'm coming! Just give me a few minutes to dress up," I yelled back and sat up on my soft bed.

I looked over to see the red Echidna standing at the door. He was wearing a full grey tank top with a golden chain around his neck. His short jeans only reached to his knees and had rips all over the thigh area. He was wearing his well-known green and yellow shoes.

I knew that lived with four other people in this large house. We all looked out for each other. We wouldn't let anyone be late for anything in this house. I was grateful for everyone and everything in this household.

"Could you close the door so I could get dressed?" I asked him and he nodded and slowly shut the door and walked away.

I went to my closet and grabbed some clothing. I put on a white shirt and long brown pants. I tied the laces to my normal red and white shoes. I put my brow jacket over top and grabbed my black glasses before I left the room.

I walked out the door and put my glasses on my forehead. I walked down the long hallway and made my way downstairs. I soon found myself in the living room with the rest of my roommates.

"Looks like someone decided to join us," I heard someone say next to me as I got to the bottom of the stairs.

"Oh shut it, Silver... You know I had homework to do last night," I said as I yawned loudly.

Silver was sitting on the couch. He was wearing a black shirt with light blue sleeves. He had long black pants on and his normal white gloves with golden bracelets. He had a light blue bandana wrapped around his neck and his blue, black, and white shoes on.

"Well... Knuckles and the girls are waiting for you in the kitchen," He told me and pointed to one of the doors.

"Alright... Thanks," I told him and slowly made my way into the kitchen.

When I entered the kitchen the smell of pancakes hit me hard. I saw three figures one of them being Knuckles already sitting at the table. I pulled out one of the white chairs to join them.

"How are you Tails?" A high pitch female voice rang next to me.

"I'm fine Rose... Thanks for asking," I told the pink hedgehog and gave her a smile.

Amy now goes by Rose because she thought it was a nice change. She now lets her hair loose and doesn't wear her normal red headband anymore. She now wears a red top that shows her belly and really short black shorts. She had her red and black boots on and her red and grey gloves.

"You seem tired Tails... Are you sure?" Another calm voice asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine Blaze... I just went to bed really late last night," I turned to the purple cat that was sitting on the other side of me.

Blaze was wearing a black shirt and a long sleeve jacket over top. Her hair was in a tight ponytail being held with a red band. She had snow white pants on and high purple boots that reached her knees.
