Chemistry Class

Knuckles' POV

"I'll see you later my Rose... Try and stay out of trouble alright?" I asked the pink hedgehog and kissed her cheek.

"I will... Bye Knuckles!" She said and ran off to her next class.

I am so lucky to have someone like Amy. After Sonic left us to look for an adventure of his own Amy soon learned that he wasn't coming back soon or maybe even at all. She moved on and soon fell in love with me.

We have been dating for a while now. We were the ones who bought the house the Blaze, Silver, Tails, Amy, and I live in now. When we bought it there were so many rooms we decided to help our friend out and offered them a place to stay.

I walked down the halls and soon saw Silver talking with Tails next to their lockers. I walked up to them and was confused not seeing Sonic with them. They saw me walking towards them and waited where they were for me.

"Hey Silver and Tails! Where is Sonic? I thought he was with you Silver?" I asked them and I and Tails both looked to the silver hedgehog who had just opened his locker.

"He already headed to his next class... He left me after we walked out of the classroom," He told us with a shrug as he pulled out a light green book from his locker.

"What was his next class? Did you find out?" I asked Silver as he slammed his locker shut after he had gotten everything.

"I think it was science... I'm not too sure," He said while hugging all of his books and things close to his chest.

"Well... I'm heading to Science class right now. If he's there I'll watch over him. You don't need to worry about him Tails," I told both of them and they nodded.

"Thank you Knuckles," Tails said and I nodded and rubbed his head messing up his fur in the process.

"I got to get to class... See you guys!" I yelled after them as I started to run down the hall.

"See you during lunch Knuckles!" They yelled back at me as I slowed to walk when I got further down the hallway getting further and further away from my two friends.

I finally made it to the dark, brown, and lonely door that was the Science Lab. The room was at the very end of a long hallway all by itself. I looked through the small window before I opened the door but was stopped before I could walk or even see inside.

"Hey Knuckles~," A voice said as I was lightly pushed away from the door and into the middle of the hall.

"Leave me alone Rouge," I told the Batgirl as I pushed her off my chest and tried to make it to the door.

"I heard from a little birdy that you knew the new kid... Is that true?" She asked me with a smile and pushed me away from the door again.

"Yes, I know Sonic... If you are wondering he is single but he isn't looking for a girlfriend right now Rouge. I don't think your his type either. Now if you excuse me I have to get to class," I told her as I pushed her away and I was able to make my way towards the door again.

I quickly walked into the science lab and shut the door behind me. I looked over to see Sonic standing next to the teacher at his desk. The teacher had a note in his hand and was reading over it carefully. He then looked over at Sonic then back at the note and nodded.

Sonic then sat down at one of the long tables in the middle of the room. I made my way to sit to next to him by pushing in chairs left from the last class. Sonic looked up at me while I pulled out the chair next to him and sat down. 

"How are you doing Sonic? Are you alright?" I asked him and he gave me a thumbs up to tell me it has been fine.

"Hey Knuckles! Who is this? Is the new kid I've been hearing about?" Someone asked as they turned around in their seat to face me.

"Hey Espio! Yeah, this is the New kid," I said and gave him a fist bump.

Espio was wearing a purple zip-up jacket with a plain black shirt underneath. His shoes were violet and dark green with black laces. His pants were long tight black pants with a single white stripe going down the side of his leg.

"This is Sonic! He's a childhood friend of mine," I told the chameleon as I nudged Sonic lightly with my elbow.

Sonic waved to Espio and gave him a tiny and warm smile. Espio returned the smile then turned to me with a confused look. Before I could explain anything the teacher starts talking at the front of the class.

"Today we have a new student with us... Sonic could you please stand where you are?" The teacher asked and Sonic pushed his chair out and stood up slowly.

"Everyone this is Sonic! He is having troubles with his voice so he can't talk for now so please don't try and get him to speak," The teacher continued and gave Sonic a hand signal to show that he could sit down.

"Now I will let you all talk and get to know each other. Just don't hurt anyone else," He said and retreated back to his work on his desk.

"So you're mute?" Espio asked Sonic who nodded sadly in response.

"Hey, Sonic how about you sit with me and the others during lunch?" I asked him and his personality changed from sad to happy within seconds.

"Who is your new friend Espio?" A high voice asked and I looked over to see a bee.

He was wearing a black helmet and black bracelets with white gloves. He had a light orange vest on with a small white shirt underneath. He was wearing navy green shorts with orange and white shoes. On his vest, there was a small bee pin on the right side.

"Sonic this is my friend Charmy the Bee," Espio said to Sonic and pushed Charmy towards Sonic.

"So... You're the mute kid?" He asked Sonic he held out his hand to shake.

"Charmy that isn't what you ask someone one you just met," A scratchy voice said from behind me.

I turned around to see a crocodile. He had a huge gold chain around his nack. His black headphones matched the ones that Sonic was wearing. He was wearing a dark green sleeveless button-up shirt. He had white gloves with black bracelets with a cool yellow design on them. He was wearing really short black pants with his yellow and black shoes.

"My name is Vector... Nice to meet you," He said to the both of us and he shook Sonic's hand.

The rest of class went by fast when I found myself mid-sentence when the bell rang for lunch. I saw Sonic pick up his bags and wave goodbye to me and the others.

"See you guys later!" I said as I walked out of the classroom waving goodbye to the three boys.

I finally made my way out of the classroom and found myself face to face with a pink hedgehog. She had a huge smile on her face and was hlding out her hand for me to take. I smiled back at her and gladly took her hand.

"How was you class my Rose?" I asked her as we walked down the hall together.

"It was fine... How about you Knuckles?" She asked me as she nuzzled into my arm.

"It was fine My rose... It was fine" I told her as we both made way to the lunch room.
