Shadow's POV

I stopped my motorcycle in the parking lot of the school. I took off my helmet and let my red and black quills fall down. I locked my helmet onto my bike handle and walked towards the school.

I adjusted the cuffs to my leather black jacket and brushed off my black jeans. I fixed my gloves and gold bracelets and turned off my red and black rocket shoes. I shoved my phone into my back pocket.

~Beep~ ~Beep~ ~Beep~

A car started honking at me to stop. I stopped walking and looked over to see a car. There were a ton of bumper stickers on the back. The license plate read "Batgirl1431" written in dark blue print.

I watched as the light pink car parked right next to my red bike. When it stopped I watched as a certain white bat popped out of the car. She shut the door then locked it and was walking right towards me.

"Hey Shadow~," She said in her seductive voice.

"Hey Rouge," I said blankly and kept walking towards the large school.

Rouge was wearing a black top with a pink heart in the center that showed her belly. She was wearing skin-tight black leggings with a silver belt loosely hanging from her waist. Her high heeled boots reached to her knees. Her hair was brushed neatly into a bun and she had a ton of makeup like always.

"Ugh... Another day at this dump," I said to Rouge who was standing right beside me looking up at the large school.

"Well... Today might get a little interesting," She said as a smirk formed on her face.

"What do you mean by that Batgirl?" I asked her as I looked over at her with a confused face.

"I heard from a little birdy that there is a new student coming today," She said with a smile.

"Male or female?" I asked her and she gave me another one of her stupid smirks.

"Male... He is also in our Reading Class for the first period. This might be your chance to get a boy Shadow," She said and I started to blush a little.

I was true that I was gay and I didn't mind that. But when someone brought it up near me I couldn't help but act this way. Most girls would hit on me and try and ask me out but I just decline. All the boys at this school are either too ugly or just flat out players.

"I also heard that the new kid looks a little female," Rouge said when we got to the glass doors of the school.

"So other boys will be hitting on him?" I asked her and she gave me a quick wink.

"You got it lover boy!" She said as I opened my locker and grabbed all my books.

"We'll talk about this later... Right now let's just get to class alright?" I asked her and she gave out a huff of annoyance but soon agreed.

We walked down the hall as I felt some stares fall upon me. Girls were eyeing me as I walked passed their little groups in the hall. Other boys were looking for a fight while the cracked their knuckles.

I finally made it to the classroom with Rouge. Rouge followed behind me as we walked into the classroom. I sat down in the middle row with Rouge right next to me.

"Come on Sonic! Everything will be fine!" I heard a voice say as the classroom door opened slowly.

An azure and silver hedgehog walked in through the door. The silver one was holding the blue one's hand tightly as he led them over to the seats right in front of us.

"Hey Silver... I see you brought a friend," I heard Rouge comment next to me.

"This is Sonic! He is an old friend of mine and just moved to this school," Silver said as he moved over so we could see the blue hedgehog better.

"How is it going hun?" Rouge asked Sonic and Sonic gave her a thumbs up.

"Not trying to be rude but why are you not talking?" I asked Sonic and he looked over to Silver for help.

"Sonic is having some issues with his voice... He is trying to get it fixed but for now he can't talk," Silver told us and I nodded in understanding.

As more and more students started pouring through the classroom door the teacher was the last to enter. Our teacher was a tall lady bunny. Her fur was cream and brown. She had a long magenta and pink dress on that reached her ankles. She had low red high heels on and looked at all of us with her soft chocolate chip eyes.

"Hello class my name is Vanilla the Rabbit! We have two new kids today here at Green Hill! Sonic and Cream could you come up to the front of the class?" She asked and Sonic and another kid stood up.

The other kid that was up in the front of the class was another rabbit. She was wearing a white shirt and a solid black skirt. She had a bow tied around her neck that was light blue. She also had white socks that reached her knees and plain black buckle shoes.

"Could you introduce yourselves?" Vanilla asked them both and they both nodded.

"My name is Cream the Rabbit! I moved here a while ago with my mom and I hope we can get along!" The little rabbit said and bowed.

"Sonic how about you?" Vanilla asked the blue hedgehog.

I watched as Sonic pulled out a note from his jacket pocket. He handed the neatly folded paper to Vanilla and waited for her to read it. When Vanilla was done she nodded at Sonic and sent Cream back to her seat.

"Everyone this is Sonic the Hedgehog. He cannot talk at the moment so try to be kind to give him space and show him respect. Thank you Sonic," Vanilla said and sent Sonic back to his seat.

The rest of class went by in a flash as everyone just sat there and got to know each other. Vanilla was a pretty laid back teacher and wasn't too strict. She would always give us some freedom.

"Alright! The class will be dismissed early today! Have a nice day class!" Vanilla said and we all got up from our chairs.

I and Rouge waved goodbye to Sonic and Silver as they walked out the front door. When they were out of view I turned to the white bat. Rouge was giving me a look and was smirking.

"You like him don't you," She said and I blushed and nodded.

"I don't know what it is... He just looks way to cute for his own good," I told her and she nodded.

"I might not let you have this one lover boy," She said with a smirk as she was about to walk out the front door.

"Blue boy is mine Rouge," I said before the white bat left.

"We'll see Shadow... We'll see," She said and left me alone in the classroom.
