Sad Love

Chapter 16

Nikki's POV
We all stay in the same place for a good 5 minuets until Sam speaks up.
"Guys we shouldn't stay here for too much longer, that bear is going to be coming back shortly and she's going to be ready for a fight."
"Yeah Sams right, we need to get out of here, Nikki go get a old blanket so we can wrap Odin up in it" Dean states. I slowly stand to my feet.
"Nikki can we burry him at the ranch by the tree at the pond, that was his favourite place to go" Danyelle softly cries not taking her eyes off Odin.
"Yeah of course" I place my hand on her shoulder and walk into the camp for a blanket followed by Sam just in case the bear cane back, no one should be alone right now!

   Hours have passed and we just finished digging the grave. Sam and Dean gently place Odin in the 7 foot deep hole.
   "Odin I could say so much for you but I know if I do we will be here for centuries, so I'm just going to make it nice and short. I remember when I first went to look at you I had my eyes on a different puppy, you were so hyper and crazy, the breeders said you would calm down soon so I decided to get you and the other puppy, I got you home and the first thing you did was go into my bedroom and grab my favourite pair of shoes and eat them then I had to bring you to the vet to make sure you were okay. You never did calm down, your still the same hyper puppy I met 5 Year's ago and you should have had a long happy life but it had to be taken from you now so Rest In Peace Baby boy." Danyelle wipes tears from her cheeks and I stand beside her while hugging her side for comfort, Sam and Dean stand on the other side of Odin's grace staring at the grave.
   "Okay guys lets fill it in" Danyelle sighs taking one last look at the blanket Odin's wrapped in. We link our arms together and walk towards the house leaving the guys to fill in his grave.

   A couple hours passed and it's starting to get late so Danyelle and I decide we are going to stay the night at the apartment because of what happened with the bear we just feel safer in the city at this point.
   "Are all the animals inside?" She asks before hoping into our truck.
   "Yup they all have food for the night and they are all inside" I fill her in.
   "Okay well drive safe Nikki and call me when you get home" Sam says and give me a kiss on the lips.
   "Okay I will, tell Dean to drive slow and watch out for deer" I kiss Sam back.
   "Okay bye, love you."
   "Love you too." We both hop into our vehicles and drive to the city.
  
   We reach the apartment and Danyelle and I decide we aren't that tired so we will watch some Netflix. I unload the dogs and it's weird because Odin always comes out last so I was waiting for him to come out but then I realized he's not with us anymore, that makes me sad and brought a tear to my eye.
   "Fuller house or Friends?" Danyelle asks while swiping through Netflix.
   "Friends obviously" I laugh standing up remembering that I have to call Sam. "You get it ready I'll be back, I have to call Sam."
   "Omg you guys are so in love" Danyelle jokes.
   "Eww stop that makes me cringe" I laugh and trail off to the kitchen to make a phone call and get popcorn.

The Next Morning

   I slowly snap awake forgetting where I was for a minute. I look at my surroundings and see Danyelle asleep on the couch next to me. I stand up and go to the kitchen for some coffee. My phone goes off, I quickly pick it up and see a message from Sam. It reads "meet me at my place I need to tell you something! and deans not here" Sam why would u say that know you got me all worried. I rush to my bedroom and throw on a black halter shirt and ripped jeans along with a messy bun and today I'm not wearing any makeup. I slip into my black combat boots.
   "Where are you going?" Danyelle slowly perks her head up from the pillow she was resting on.
   "Sam said to meet him this house so I'm heading there, can you take care of the animals for me, I will meet you there later" I ask politely.
   "Yeah sure, I'll see you there then" she smiles and throws her head back down on her pillow. I grab my purse and throw it over my shoulder and head out the door grabbing the truck keys on the way out.

   I knock on Sam's door and not to long after he opens it and give him a kiss on the lips.
   "Hey" I say and follow him to his bedroom, he takes a seat on his bad facing me.
   "Hey."
   "So what did you want to tell me about?" I tilt my head.
   "Oh yeah" he smiles pulling out his phone and opening Facebook. "So the neighbours at camp herd a noise coming from your camp so they went over there and that bear was trying To get in, so he got his tranquilizer and shot the bear so now he's bringing it far, far away" Sam shows me a picture of the bear being lifted into the back of his truck.
   "Where are they bringing it to, and does he know that the bear killed a dog?" I ask.
   "Yeah I tolled him about that and the bear is going all the way to Prince Edward Island to a bear sanctuary."
   "Ugh I don't think bears deserve to go there it's not fair to them" I whine.
   "Yeah I know but I'd rather it there than here" Sam sighs
   "Yeah. At least no one will get hurt right?" I ask.
   "No one will be getting hurt from her anymore" Sam smiles and then something comes to my head.
   "Sam what about the cubs?" I say shocked.
   "Shit" he mutters.
   "Sam what if-"
   "No don't say it Nikki, it won't work they are dangerous wild animals you can't risk it taking them in" Sam says firmly.
   "Sam please" I beg still knowing that he won this disagreement. 

   "No Nikki we can't, I wish we could but its dangerous and no, its just a bad idea."

   "Ugh your no fun Sam Winchester" I say and playfully push him down onto the bed, something drops out of my pocket and I quickly glanced over to see what it was.

   "What was that?" Sam asks and tries to sit up but i push him back down and he smirks.

   "Oh nothing important" I lie right through my teeth.

   "Oh ok" he says and grabs me so he flips himself on top of me, and you all know what happens after that.
