3rd POV

Ruki stared at the doctor with his eyebrows raised. He just heard the diagnosis that was supposed to explain the symptoms he suffered from for the past two weeks. He was skeptical about the diagnosis being correct. After all it was unheard of for a man to get pregnant.

-Are you sure? – he asked.

-Yes. – he nodded and wrote the prescription for some vitamins. – It's rare, but bot impossible. Not to mention you're a vampire, just like me. Tell me, have you found your mate?

-I did...but we're not together yet.

-But you had sex.

-Well...yeah...

-Then here's your explanation and my confirmation. – the doctor nodded and smiled. - You're expecting his baby.

Time skip

Ruki came back home and he immediately had to face his worried brothers. They were asking questions about his wellbeing all the time. Ruki felt his migraine coming so he rubbed his temples to ease the tension he was feeling a bit.

-I got pregnant by that idiot. – he said.

Ruki's brothers didn't know how to respond to that. Ruki sighed and sat on the couch. He didn't know what to do. He remembered what he said to Y/n. Ruki rejected him right after they had sex. He thought he didn't need a mate, but at the same time he wanted some fun time, so he agreed on one quickie. That one decision changed his life, more than he expected it to.

-You need to contact him. – said Kou, earning the nods from the rest of the siblings.

-I know. – mumbled Ruki and kid his face in his hands. – I know. – he repeated with a deep and heavy sigh.

Time skip

Ruki tried to call Y/n multiple times, but he never answered his phone. Ruki didn't know where to look for him, so he just decided to meet him at school. What his saw made his stomach turn. Y/n was hiding with other guys, known to be gay, or girls in the empty classrooms, closets and roof on every break between lessons. It wasn't hard to figure out what was happening there. Ruki didn't have any opportunity to talk to Y/n. He was flirting during the lessons and getting laid during the breaks. All Ruki did was sending the short message to Y/n.

Y/n was getting dressed after another banging session when he got the text. He looked at the screen and read the two words from the contact named "Ruki". He sighed and looked out of the window. He ignored the girl he was with. He just got his things and left the classroom. He threw his backpack to his car and waited for Ruki next to the school's entrance. When he noticed him he pulled him behind the corner.

-Nice to finally see you react to my message. – said Ruki.

-I was busy. – smirked Y/n, seeing Ruki's reaction. – So. You're pregnant huh? Got any evidence? Or is it just a poor way of trying get me back?

-Want an evidence? – growler Ruki.- You'll see it after three months when my stomach will get bigger. Take the responsibility you damn bastard.

-You're calling me a bastard? You? The one who rejected me because I'm a demon? Right after we mated? You have no idea how much pain you gave me over these past days. And you dare to call me a bastard.

Ruki though about his words before he answered. He did have a point.

-Fine. – he said. – We'll have a baby soon. Let's take it back to the beginning. For the sake of our kid.

-Why not. Sure.

Time skip

Ruki and Y/n didn't talk much. Y/n helped out around and even prepared the nursery for the baby, but he didn't spend any more time with Ruki than needed. Even though Ruki tried to make things right, Y/n pushed him away every time. He didn't trust him at all and if it wasn't for the baby he wouldn't even glance at this mate. He didn't even know if he should call him that. After all he rejected him.

He came to the hospital when he got a call that Ruki went into labor. He wanted to see his baby and be present in their life. He knew he was going to have a daughter. He fell in love with her the second he held her in his arms and she smiled at him.

-Can you give me another chance? – asked Ruki looking at them. – For her?

-I will. – said Y/n. – But it's just for her. You have a lot of work to do to earn my trust.

-I know. And I'm willing to take that challenge.
