Chapter 158

Ben's POV:
I climbed back up the ladder and saw Lily was gone. "No,no,no,no NO!"
Jeff poked his head up the ladder"What is it now?"
"She's gone! I shouldn't have left her alone. She probably thinks I hate her, why did I sound so horrible when I spoke to her? Oh god Jeff what have I done?!"
"Hey calm down, she couldn't have gone far. I'll look downstairs you search the rest of the upstairs."
I nodded and began to search. Tears ran down my face and my brain was at the edge of shutting me down. But I felt arms wrap around my waist "L-Lily?"
"Don't be sad! I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me!"She said while sobbing
I turned around and hugged her close to me "Don't cry my angel, we're both here now. It's ok." I said softly as I wiped both of our tears away. She nodded and snuggled into my chest, I ran my hand through her hair until she calmed down.

I lifted her head up so she looked at me"Ok now I think you owe two people an apology."
