"Hey Cortana" I punched an elite in the face "yeah" I duck a punch and shove my fist in his mouth and activate my widow bites killing him, he drops to the ground and a I hear gun shots and an explosion "what was that explosion" "it was the other station being blow from the inside" I walk around and head to the armoury and see chief walking up the stairs "so it blown from the inside, let me guess the boarding crafts were distraction so they could get a bomb on board" "yes, I'm going to connect your comm with everyone" "get out of my armoury" elites kill him and chief shoots back killing them, "hey chief" he looks behind him and at me and we keep walking, he heads toward the deck out in space "hey I'm going to take the long way around" he nods at me and I sprint off until cortana speaks that she found the bomb "I'll need chief to get to the console" "you heard her chief" "since you won't be needing my help on this I'm going to board Keyes ship" "there's a pelican that Johnson's boarding I'll tell him to wait" "thanks Cortana" "oh and before you go, head back down to the armoury I have a new suit ready for you" "thanks I'll be at least 10 minutes tops" I run back to the armoury and see my suit in it's holder along with my new weapons,

I put my shock staffs in there holders on my back, my thigh holsters didn't have any pistols so I reloaded my old ones and put them in my new holsters, "tell Johnson I'm on my way" I sprint out and head towards the pelican I see Johnson loading up he saw me sprinting towards him and waved me over I ran up the ramp and stopped and closed the ramp "let's go" the pelican headed towards Keyes ship "nice look" I smiled at him "yeah it's a nice change, I needed a new cover anyway, when you found me, was I on the autumn with chief" "yeah, they said they didn't need you woken yet not unless things got worse, they did so when the autumn went down we had to wake you up, you didn't fully wake until we had the right system, when we arrived at CARIO you woke up at least 24 hours later" I shook my head and chuckle "I was only asleep for what like 5 minutes and things go to shit" "you know I heard stories in the military when I was training about you, meeting you in person and seeing how tall you are, your like my mom" "yeah I've been told I give off that vibe" we arrived on Keyes ship and we immediately went to the bridge.
MASTER CHIEF POV
I ran into the room that had the bomb and cortana appears at the console "me inside your head now!" I put my hand over the console and she appears in my head and I press the deactivation button on the bomb "how much time was left!" "You don't want to know" "CARIO this is in Amber clad, the carrier shield is down! I'm in position, and ready for an immediate assault" "Negative Commander not against a ship of that size, not on your own" "sir, permission to leave the station" "for what purpose master chief?" "To give the covenant back there bomb" "permission granted" I take the bomb and drag it across to the elevator and go down "I know what your thinking and it's crazy" "so, stay here" "unfortunately for us both, I like crazy" the elevator stops and I drag the bomb out and in line for the bay doors, I look out and at the fight that's happening and jog to the manual door release, and push the button and a lever comes out, I put my back to the wall and put my hand on the lever ready to pull down "so just one question?, what if you miss" "I won't" I pull the lever down and the bay door opens and the bomb starts getting pulled by the vacuum, I grab one of the spikes sticking out and get dragged with it, I fly past one our ships exploding and jets fire and make a hole in the covenant ship for me, I'm in there reactor room with gravity off and I push the activation button and push my self back out of the covenant ship and I fly to Amber clad
Y/N POV
Johnson and I look at the cameras outside and see John heading towards the ship a little fast and we hear a big clunk on the side of the ship, I wince and Johnson looks at me and Miranda "for a brink he flew pretty good" Miranda presses the comm "chief get inside gear up, to we're taking this fight to the surface" the ship heads over top a city and we load up on three pelicans full of marines, until Cortana shows us that there's a distress signal coming from one of the covenant ships "the message keeps repeating regret, regret, regret" "catchy any idea of what it means" comes over the coms "dear humanity, we regret being alien bastards, we regret coming to earth, and we definitely regret that the corps just blew up our raggedy ass fleet!" "Oh no only the men of the corps make this a raggedy ass fleet" "Regret is a name Sargent, the name of one of the covenants religious leaders- a prophet, he's on that carrier and he's calling for help" "immediate: grid kilo two-three is hot, recommend mission abort" "roger recon, it's your call sarge" "we're going in, Get tactical marines" "master chief? Y/n get aboard that carrier, secure the prophet of regret, this is the only place on earth the covenant decided to land, that prophet is going to tell us why" "30 seconds to land, stand-by to... whoa" "uh oh what does whoa mean?" I head toward the cockpit and see a scarab "oh this is definitely a whoa" I look at it as it's about to load, one of the pelicans goes down while the one I'm in gets hit and goes down, all of us get thrown around, I get up and have a pounding headache, I look around and see the sarge getting up with a few others, he comes towards me and gives me a hand "you alright" "never been better" "status" "sir o-Brian is down" "we lost our pilots to" "grab there tags and ammo" we walk out of the destroyed pelican and one of the ODST are guarding the pelican "sarge we should get moving" "agreed we can get cover in those buildings" "butcus you take point" we start running and get cover behind some debris from the destroyed building, butcus looks around the debris and almost gets shot in the head with a sniper "Whoa, sniper third floor left" "here that me give them my welcome earth give basket" a sniper gets in position and shots the sniper in the neck making it fall to the ground, I hear some grunts start freaking out "we have at least two grunts over there" sarge looks at me and nods me move forward toward the building again not taking fire until a hear an energy sword activation, they start shooting at the elite and two of them get knocked down, we put our backs to each other "damn where is he" "anyone see him" a plasma bomb gets thrown onto one of the ODSTs helmet and he quickly takes it off, he turns around and sees the elite and throws it at him, the elites camp goes off and he grabs one of the men and holds him hostage, I sprint and kick off on a concrete I wrap my legs around his head and zip line his neck choking him, the guy that was hostage gets free and one of the ODST shoots him in the chest, I dive roll off his shoulders and quickly turning around and taking out my shock staffs that Activate and stabbing him in the stomach, he falls to the ground smoking and I put them back in there holder and turn around, "second squad this is Cortana, what's your status" "were operational but barley our pilots didn't make it" "find a hole stay put were coming to you" "understood ma'am"

Johnson picks me up with a tank attached to his pelican, "let's move" I nod and he takes me and the tank to chief, the tank drops and I hop off the pelican with sarge, "where's the rest of your platoon?" "Wasted sarge" another one comes running up to sarge "and we will be to, sir if we don't get the hell out of here" he starts walking to the pelican and Johnson places a hand on the marine stopping him "you hit marine" "n- no sir" "then listen up, when I joined the corps, we didn't have any fancy- schmanzy tanks, we had sticks, two sticks, and a rock for the whole platoon, and we had to share the rock, buck up boy, you are very lucky marine!" "What about that scarab" "we've run the simulations they're tough but they ain't invincible" he turns around with a sagar in his mouth "stay with y/n and the master chief they'll know what to do" "yes sir Sergeant" and he walks off back on the pelican "thanks for the tank, he never gets me anything" "same with me" "oh I know what the ladies like" we load up on the tank and get to the other side of the bridge destroying anything, when we get to another team, a marine shows us to there sarge, "when I asked for reinforcements I didn't think I was getting a the spartan and the spy" all three of us look at the scarab coming around the corner, both of us run into cover as it climbs the building were standing on "wow I didn't think those things could climb" "neither did I" we both watch as it walks away, going down and walking in a river, we run along the edge and chief throws bomb on the top killing covenant bastards, we both jump onto it and head down to the control hub, killing elites, we make it self destruct and we walk out, we look and see that the their ship is leaving, Johnson's pelican hovers behind us and he yells threw the speakers "Thats right run you mothers! Run!" Amber clad zooms above us and Miranda comes over the speaker "not if we can help it sergeant, extract both of them and return to In Amber Clad" "roger that"
MIRANDA KEYES POV
Lord hood yells "status" "Sir the prophet is bugging out request permission to engage" "negative commander, ill vector two heavies for star side intercept" "Ma'am! Slip-space rupture off the targets bow!, it's going to jump, inside the city" "there's no time sir!" "Green light to engage green light" Johnson's pelican arrives in the hanger "punch it get us close" "ma'am without a destination solution" "we are not losing that ship!" And we head straight into the slip space portal
