Chapter 8: Date night

Y/n pov:
After a few days it was time for your date with Namjoon. You were pretty nervous and was fiddling with your clothes while you were waiting on Jimin his couch. You asked Yoongi and Jimin for help and together you made a reservation at the diner owned by a good friend of the boys. The doorbell ringed and you jumped up walking towards the front door. You let out a nervous sigh before opening the door. Infront of you stood Namjoon looking as dashing as ever. His mouth fell open when he saw you, you blushed and looked down at your clothes. You were wearing a lace black dress and high heels. "You..u lo.o.k beautiful." Namjoon stuttered.
"Well thank you, you're not looking bad yourself either." You reply blushing.
"So ready to go?" He asks you offering his arm.
You took it and together you guys walked towards the car from Namjoon. You told him the address and then you guys drove off.

The diner was called Eatjin. You walked inside and was greeted by a young man in his early twenties "Namjoon. Y/n, it is good to see you."
"Indeed it is Jungkook, it's been too long." Namjoon replies hugging the younger male. "Where is your brother?"
"You mean me, mister worldwide handsome?" A voice says. You turn around to be greeted by a broad shouldered man with an apron. He hugged Namjoon before turning to you. "Awh Y/n still as beautiful as the last time I saw you."
"Okay JIn, we get it don't you need to cook something." Jungkook says to his elder brother.
"I am sorry but I am the boss, you can't tell me what to do." He argues.
"No but I am the manager and I think something is burning." Jungkook replies with a smirk. Jin his smile faltered before he ran to the kitchen.
"Well this way." Jungkook says to us smiling after Jin left.

After we were seated you couldn't help but ask "How do you know those guys?"
"Well Jin is one of my bestfriends and he is actually married to my boss. Jungkook is his younger brother who befriended Taehyung years ago. Jin always dreamt of having his own diner so he made it happen and called it EatJin." Namjoon explained.
"Ah I see."
Jungkook came back not much later with the menu's. you thanked him and let your eyes roam over the different choices. "try the steak." Namjoon says "Last time when we were here you loved it."
"Okay. I will have the steak and a coke" you tell Jungkook
"Good choice." He says smiling.
"Same as her." Namjoon replies.
"I will bring it over when it is ready." Jungkook responds before walking off.
"So if I remember correctly you promised to tell me about our first meeting," You say turning back to Namjoon.
"Well it all began the day Jimin and Yoongi got married." He begins with a smile om his handsome face

Flashback Namjoon POV:

"You may kiss your husband." Yoongi's dad says to the boy infront of him. Since he was a wedding officiant he was allowed to marry them. Jimin grinned before Yoongi pulled him in for a kiss. Everyone was shouting and clapping and the two bridesmaids were the loudest. my gaze went to the shorter one of the two, she was cute.
Taehyung noticed me starring at her "That is Y/n. Jimins sister and Mina her twin."
"They don't look alike." I whisper
"No they don't. but why don't you go talk to her?" My cousin chuckled.
"Oh shut up, just go fuck Mina."
"You know I will tonight." Taehyung smirked before walking towards his girlfriend. I shoke my head laughing and walked over to Yoongi and Jimin. Yoongi was my colleague at work and I was surprised when he invited me to his wedding. After wishing the new couple the best I walked towards the table to grab something to eat. I just ate a cupcake before I slipped and fell to the ground. I hit my head against the marble floor and groaned out in pain.
"Are you okay?" Taehyung his girlfriend asks looking at me worried.
"Yes I am fine." I reply rubbing my head.
"Y/n get some ice please." She screamed at her twin sister before turning her attention back to me "I am Mina."
"I know, I am Namjoon, Taehyung his cousin." I tell her sitting up.
"So you are the guy that is starring at my sister." She says with a wicked smile. Now I know why she and Taehyung are in a relationship.
"I am not." I try to defend myself.
"Don't worry I will help. It is time for my sister to get laid." She says. Then Y/n came back with a ice pack covered in a towel before softly placing it on my head.
"What happened here?" Jimin asks coming over looking worried.
"Namjoon saw our hot sister, tripped and hit his head on the floor. He did broke a tile though, lucky for him he doesn't have a concussion. "Mina replies with that same wicked smile. Taehyung smiled at her knowing exactly what she was doing. "Y/n why don't you make sure he is okay and get to know him better, he is  Yoongi's friend." Mina says before walking away dragging Jimin and Taehyung after her.
"She always does this." Y/n sighed helping me up.
"What?" I ask her.
"She always tries to couple me to someone."
"Well I know how that is. Taehyung your brother in law is my cousin."
"Ah, that explains a lot." She chuckled.
"Well maybe we should do what they say for once to get them off our backs." I tell her with a smile.
"Maybe we should, I am Park Y/n." She smiles offering her hand for me to shake it.
I took her hand " Well nice to meet you I am Kim Namjoon."
