maddy slapped her phone down on her comforter and quickly got out of bed to change. she changed into a white shirt, jean shorts, and a small cardigan.

she straightened her hair to make sure it fell flat against her shoulders. she applied small makeup, she knew she didn't have to try because donghyuck didn't care. the two of them had been friends for nearly eight years and they did practically everything together.
he had been through so much with her, he was there for all her fake friendships ending, her parents getting a divorce, all her bad breakups, he was even there for the two things that flipped maddy's world upside down. he was a true friend, but donghyuck wanted to be more then just maddy's best friend.

maddy laughed as she skipped down the stairs and out the front door to meet with her best friend.
"hey hyuckie," she smiled brightly and ruffled his hair as soon as she settled in the passengers seat of donghyuck's car.
"what movie do you want to see?" donghyuck asked as they stopped at a red light. "i don't care, surprise me. but no scary movies i hate scary movies" maddy said getting very excited for her afternoon with donghyuck.
"okay cover your ears, i'm buying the tickets" donghyuck said as him and maddy approached the ticket booth. maddy nodded and out her hand over her ears making all voiced very muffled and hard to hear.
the loud voices made it impossible to hear what movie donghyuck bought tickets for which made maddy scared. "you can uncover your ears now," donghyuck's soft voice was the inky thing maddy did hear.
she felt very flustered at the sudden closeness between the two of them but she tried brushing it off. the two best friends walked into the main part of the theater, they bought popcorn, as that was donghyuck's favorite.
"okay time to go see what movie i picked out," donghyuck smirked, wiggling his eyebrows at maddy, who was regretting the choice to let donghyuck choose the movie.
the two of them sat in the very back of the theater, the previews were nearly over when they made it into the theater. maddy tried to look at the header that says the movie right before you walk in the doors, but donghyuck grabbed her wrist and pulled her in before she had the chance.
"are you ready to see what movie i chose," donghyuck said again, maddy could practically hear the smirk on his lips.
she started to shake her head as the lights dimmed, "the nun" came up in large white letters.
"ta-da!!" donghyuck whispered holding his hands out like it was some magic trick.
"fuck you," maddy whined quietly. the movie hadn't even started and maddy had basically on top of donghyuck.
"hey, dipshit, your strangling me." donghyuck whined trying to make sure maddy didn't see his red cheeks.
"hyuck, i'm holding your arm." maddy laughed holding up donghyuck's arm and shaking it in front of his face as if his arm was a rag doll.
"mads, stop," he whined, "you can cling to me and be the scaredy bitch you are, but please, watch the beauty. it takes time to look this perfect and i can't afford having it messes up by you," he joked back ruffling maddy's hair.
this resulted is a groan from maddy, now all her hair was messed and it was all donghyuck's fault.
on the other hand
this resulted is donghyuck's cheeks turning a light shade of red. now his feelings were a mess, and it was all maddy's fault.
