chwenotchew the school system is honestly so stupid lyke since when did i ask to be forced to sit in rows of kids i don't necessarily like

chwenotchew they expect me to make these huge life decisions yet still make me ask to go to the bathroom.
chwenotchew being locked up in the school building for like 8 hours and the only break we get is like a 30 minute lunch!

"vernon and maddy, stay after class!" the teacher said as everyone started packing their things for their next classes. maddy glared at vernon who only laughed, avoiding her glare.
"you guys know my strict policy about no phones while i'm teaching. seeing as you broke that rule, there will be consequences. i'm going to have to call home and you two will serve detention after school." she said looking at maddy.
"uh," maddy started, "my parents are out of town," she stuttered.
"oh right, i'm incredibly sorry. you'll just have detention," the teacher smiled sympathetically at maddy. vernon looked over at the teacher and then at maddy, he furrowed his brows in utter confusion.
"anyway, here are your phones, i'll see the both of you after school today." the teacher said again handing back their phones and letting maddy and vernon go to their next class.
once they were finally out of the class room maddy hit vernon on the arm, "ow! what was that for?" vernon yelled jokingly.
"this is your fault!!" maddy pouted, but couldn't hold the face, and broke into laughter. "whatever stupid, go to class i'll see you in detention."
