Cyclone's POV

The skies were blue and cloudless, but they were incomparable to the beauty of the sea. Yes, the swirling, endless, azure life of the sea. Cyclone poked her head above the water for the first time in hours - being able to breathe both underwater and on land was a nice asset to living in the ocean. A gleaming, pale pink shell on the beach caught her eye. She grabbed it with a webbed talon. Inside was a letter written in Storm's looping handwriting.

Halfway through the letter, Cyclone's claws began to shake. She was her sisters' only hope. Crystal, by the looks of it, had already bent to Stratus's will long ago, and dragons were probably coming to capture Storm and the others right now.

Suddenly the sound of running talons echoed behind her. Dropping the letter, Cyclone whirled to see two CloudWings running toward her. "What do you want?" she cried.

"Come with us to the CloudWing palace. If you are who we think you are, your brother wants to see you."

"No!" Cyclone screamed and dove into the sea, snatching up the letter just as her head dipped beneath the waves. Red ink - Storm, no, Lightbringer's blood - swirled in the clearness of the water. A reminder that her sisters needed her help.

"I will help you. If I can, the ocean will be a safe sanctuary for you, Lightbringer," Cyclone whispered into the depths of the ocean.
