Silence filled the disciples of Ra's al Ghul while his daughter, who also was his second in command, explained the risks of the mission at hand. After throughly revising, she turned back to the men and firmly ordered, "Move."
After the assassins had all emptied the room out, Ra's al Ghul walked towards his daughter. Talia merely glared at him as he approached towards her.
"You are becoming a fine leader, Talia," Ra's al Ghul said to her with a firm voice. Talia nodded appreciatively at his comment. "Now go."
Talia bowed before her father with respect, before leaving his presence and set off in route to Washington, D.C. in the United States. After several of hours, the jet finally landed on top of Morgan Industries, a building a block away from her target's location.
The night had been so cold, Talia could see her own breath when she exhaled. She and her men raced through the night and climbed up the balcony of the State Capitol to the office beside Amanda Waller's. Once inside, Talia leaned against the door of her office before breaking it down.
She heard the charge of a gun and was met with the point of one. There was a wall of armed guards in the room, defending Amanda Waller. It had been a set up, Talia came to realize.
"Good evening, Talia," A sinister voice said to the assassin. Talia glided her sword through the air and sighing, she said, "Waller."
Amanda Waller smirked, "Don't bother trying anything. You move even the slightest, and you die."
With narrowed eyes, Talia growled, "What do you want?"
Amanda laughed, "I want you. You and your abilities, of course."
"And what makes you believe that I would ever consider surrendering myself to the likes of you?" Talia spat, furrowing her eyebrows. The assassins behind Talia stood patiently waiting for their leader's word to attack.
"Simple. We have something of rather importance to you," Amanda said to her. A look of confusion was painted across Talia's face. "We have Damian."
Talia's body became rigid and tense. Amanda smirked at her unsubtle and rigid actions, "Now, you can either surrender yourself or make matters worse. And I really rather not hurt him. Tell your men to leave and not come back."
Talia turned to her men and did as told, "Tell my father I will be addressing some issues on my own for the time being and to not come for me. It will be solved on my terms, and mine alone."
The assassins followed the order with hesitation. They were after all leaving the heir to the demon behind. Ra's al Ghul would certainly not be happy, but nonetheless the followers obeyed their leader. Talia watched her men slowly leave with a sigh. She turned back to Amanda Waller and spared her a glare.
