Talia opened the door and walked out. She was followed by Waller, Rick, Katana and at last, the rest of the villains. She led the path to the roof and glanced around to see the rest of Rick's soldiers waiting for them.
Rick's second in command attempted to contact the plane in the sky but failed. "Boss, they're not talking to me."
Talia watched Rick's actions when he said, "Our bird's been jacked. Light it up!"
Rick pulled Talia beside him before she was hit with a bullet. Talia rested her back against the small shelter and glanced at Rick. he stared at her with wide eyes before she reached towards his waist.
"What? What're you doing?" Rick asked the assassin. Talia pulled a gun from his waist band and said, "I needed something that would leave a quicker result."
Talia watched Harley walk out into the platform. She then realized who the plane had been hijacked by - the Joker.
"Harley!" Talia attempted to call out to her.
"Kill her!" Waller yelled at Rick. Talia watched him press her face on his device before it failed. "Her nanite's disarmed!"
"Deadshot, shoot that woman right now!" Waller ordered the hitman. Deadshot gave her a look of disbelief, "She ain't do shit to me."
"You're a hitman. right? I got a contract. Kill Harley Quinn. Do it for your freedom and your kid," Waller offered him. Talia scoffed at her proposition.
Deadshot nodded, "Now she dead."
He walked away and aimed at her. Talia attempted to stop him but her body refused to move. Deadshot aimed and shot a bullet.
Everyone watched Harley's body fall limp before she giggled and taunted them.
Deadshot walked back over to Waller and said, "I missed."
"It's Waller. Savior one-zero's been hijaked. Shoot it down," Waller said into her radio. Talia momentarily closed her eyes and held a grim expression. They watched the plane go up in flames before falling from the sky.
Talia gripped the mantle of her sword.
"The Joker and Harley Quinn are no more," Amanda turned and announced to them. Rick glanced at Talia to see her expression unchanged.
Another plane soon arrived for Waller. She boarded and said to Rick, "Stand by. I'll send another helo!"
"The mission's not over," Rick said to them as he approached. Talia sighed, "I suppose it was too good to be true."
"Nah. It is over for me," Deadshot said to him. "We had a deal."
"Without Waller, you got nothing," Rick replied to him. Talia followed after him before Deadshot grabbed her arm, "Hold on, T."
Rick stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder at the two.
"Are we seriously about to do this again?" Deadshot asked her.
Talia narrowed her eyes, "You wanna know why I am so keen on following orders and being obedient, Lawton? It's because she's got my child. I know you can understand that, so yes I am seriously doing this again. Whether you chose to, is up to you."
Talia continued to follow after Rick, who had overheard their conversation. Deadshot glanced at everyone before deciding to follow them out.
The group made it down to the streets and saw a familiar psychotic on top of a car.
Talia, Deadshot, Diablo and Boomerang noticed her strained voice and her bloodshot eyes.
"Hey, guys. I'm back! I missed you all so much!" She forcibly smiled. Talia nodded in response.
"We're glad you could make it," Deadshot said to her and helped her down from the roof of the car.
Talia walked away from them to continue following after Rick. He glanced at her and said, "So that's it isn't it?"
Talia looked at him and curiously replied, "It's what?"
"Your kid. That's why you let yourself get caught, and why you follow every order we give ya," Rick said to the assassin. Talia scoffed, "You don't know anything about me, so do not for a second believe you do."
"I'm just saying I understand. You'd do anything to protect your kid, that's admirable," He reassured her. Talia raised an eyebrow, "I began to train him as a malicious assassin from the moment he was able to walk and speak. So, tell me if you still that's admirable, Mr. Flag."
The two remained silent for the rest of the journey. After a few minutes, rain began to fall and they found the same plane Amanda had boarded, empty.
"So let me guess. We're going to the swirling wing of trash in the sky. You know, 'cause why wouldnt we? When does this end, Flag?" Deadshot confronted Rick. He stared back at him and said, "Load up. We're in for a fight."
Talia nudged Deadshot and she entered the plane ruins and opened a satchel to find a folder that read: Top Secret.
Talia read through it before handing it to Deadshot with anxious hands. Once he finished, he marched after Flag. He threw the binder at the car nearest to the soldier.
"You tell everybody everything. Or me and you are gonna go right now," Deadshot threatened him. Talia crossed her arms and glared at the man.
"Three days ago, a non-human entity appeared in the subway station. So, Waller sent me and a woman with incredibles abilities. A witch. See, nobody could get near this thing but the witch could. Needless to say the whole thing was a bad idea. And thats how she escaped from Waller. So now you know," Rick explained to them. Talia removed pieces of her soaked hair, from her face.
"You can just kill me right now but I'm going to have a drink," Deadshot stated and walked into a bar named, The Golden Tree. Talia followed after him and said, "Make that two."
"Hey! Deadshot, al Ghul, I need your help!" Rick called after them. Talia turned to face him, "No, you need a miracle and much to say, that is not us."
