(A/N: The video is for when they go to play Dance, Dance Revolution.~Alex)
The days passed by quickly, and I trained Uraraka and Midoriya to the brink of collapsing. We went to a junkyard, where both could train themselves. I had Uraraka float many heavy things at once for a long period of time, extending the amount her limit could take. I also had her push and pull around trash, strengthening her muscles. I had her sprint, extending her physical speed and stamina. I taught her techniques I thought she would be better off knowing and helped her with her work.
I did the same for Midoriya, minus the quirk training. However, my work given to him was double. Anything he carried or moved I doubled the weight of. Since I knew he was no beginner for physical training, I knew pushing him harder would not be an issue. His mental training was a bit more difficult, seeing as he could quickly learn habits and rules. I constantly had to think up of something new for him to learn, something that was not an easy task for me to complete.
Of course, I didn't lack on training either. I constantly studied my book that I had yet to finish. It mainly had basics of black magic, most of which I already knew. There were a few helpful tips and pointers here and there to perform my quirk easier, but other than that the rest of the book was completely useless. I was still intrigued by the earlier statement of how magic is actually energy. There was color given to the energy, which means there is a way to form nothing but that energy and use it. However, the book never explained how to get such a concentration skill. I've tried everything from making my sole focus on producing energy to meditating and clearing my mind. Nothing worked, so I suppose I would have to try when I had more time.
We were standing in the junkyard once more. I was in front of the two wearing my typical sleeveless turtleneck shirt and some red basketball shorts. Black tennis shoes trailed up to my ankle. The other two were clothed in workout gear, ready to start the day's training. They had determined faces, and I was going to see where that determination gets them.
I clap my hands together. "Well, it's been fun training with you both, but today is our final day before the big games. Anyone knows that the final day means a test, and in order to test to see if you grew, you will be fighting me."
"What?!" they exclaim.
"But there's no possible way we can beat you, not now," Midoriya doubted.
"You don't have to necessarily beat me," I said. They tilted their heads in confusion. "All you have to do is land a single hit, whether it be a scratch or a punch. You can use anything in the junkyard as you please. While you are able to attack me, I am not allowed to attack you. If I do, I automatically lose. Basically, it's a game of 'Catch the Chicken'."
"I get it," Uraraka said, putting her fist in her palm. "All we have to do is hit a moving target."
"Precisely," I confirm. "With the rules explained, come at me with everything you have." I stood in a defensive position, ready to move at any moment. My fellow classmates looked at each other before nodding, having a mental agreement. We stood in silence, judging each other's movements. Midoriya charged first, quickly reeling his arm back for a punch.
I ducked under his punch, sliding away from him. He turned around and unleashed a barrage of physical attacks. I evaded all his attempts, jumping away. Midoriya huffed and panted while I stood there, hardly breaking a sweat.
"Come on, now," I playfully chide, "I know I taught you to be more conservative of your energy than that." Midoriya wiped his sweat away before charging at me again. I simply side-stepped him, the attack all too simple.
