The next match was Midoriya and Todoroki. I could tell the fight between these was going to be immense. Just the aura that seeps off their body is enough to set an intense mood. The battle began and Todoroki sent off a wave of ice. Midoriya blew the ice away with his quirk. Instantly, one of Midoriya's fingers became broken. I almost know who's coming out of this one victorious.
Todoroki sent another wave of ice toward the green-haired boy. "Oh, the fight already began," said a sweet but weary voice. "What did I miss?" I, along with a few other people, turned to see Uraraka with her eyes red and puffy.
"Were you blinded?" asked Ida ignorantly. "You need to see Recovery Girl, then!"
"No, I already went to her," she replied, plopping down next to me. "This is because of another thing." I wrapped my arm around her, pulling her into a one-sided hug with a smile.
"Awe, don't be too upset about it, Uraraka-Chan," I said. "It's only your first year here, and you didn't pull what I did earlier. I would say getting this far is victory in itself."
Uraraka shivered, making me flinch. "You're so cold, Lucifer-San!" she exclaimed. "you feel colder than ice." I raised an eyebrow, putting my hands up to my forehead. Sure, my hands were a bit a bit chilly, but they weren't freezing. Uraraka put the back of her hand on my cheek. "Is it normal for people to be this cold? Are you okay."
I waved her hand away from my face. "Yeah, I feel perfectly fine." Have I always been this cold? I've never felt cold. Is it a side-effect from being in Le Mort? Is it because I'm a ghoul, or maybe a walking corpse? I wouldn't have known because The Revolutionaries are the same way, right? All except for him, of course. He's technically speaking human, just immortal. Why didn't he tell me if I'm so cold? This isn't something to dwell on, moron. "I wouldn't worry about it too much."
A large blast of air went through the stadium, and our attention was instantly drawn back to the arena. There sat Midoriya, one of his arms totally and utterly broken. Todoroki merely narrowed his eyes, and mumbled something under his breath to the greenette. Frost was slowly beginning to cover his right side.
"Todoroki continues with the endless assault of ice!!" commentated Present Mic. "Will this final blast do the trick?!"
The half-and-half boy sent another wave of ice at Midoriya. The freckled boy stopped it with one of his already broken fingers. He began a speech, starting out with nothing more than just a slightly louder than average voice and eventually made it up to a yell so loud and full of determination that everyone in the whole stadium heard it.
"GIVE ME EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT!!!!!" howled Midoriya. "COME AT ME!!" It impressed me how assertive he's being at the moment. Normally, he was such a shy boy, so jumpy at everything that was going on around him. It amazes me to see how much I've seen him change over the short period of time that I've known him.
Todoroki gritted his teeth, charging at the greenette. Midoriya ran towards him in response, sending a heavy blow to his stomach. The scar-faced male flew across the arena, almost landing out of bounds. He staggeredly lifted himself off the ground, clutching his abdomen. He sent another wave of ice, and Midoriya simply blasted it away.
The same cycle repeated, only thins time, the curly-haired boy placed his thumb on the inside of his cheek, and used it as a slingshot of sorts. Todoroki asked of question - one which I'm not sure of - and Midoriya responded with something that made the half-and-half boy flinch.
