Necklace - Jimin

7:20 am. Y/N's alarm was going off. Indicating that she had to get ready to leave for college. She woke up and did her everyday morning routine, washing her face and applying some light makeup on her face. Then she headed over to the kitchen and made herself some breakfast. She was almost ready to leave. On the hallway where the front door was located, there's this mirror with a little basket where she keeps all her jewelry. However, there's this one special necklace. She grabbed it from the basket and put it on.

Y/N opened the door and walked outside, same did her neighbor. Seo-Yun was her name.

"Hey Yun!" The girl turned around smiling and waving at Y/N. She walked over to her. Y/N and Yun always walk to college together in the mornings. Usually, they talk about school and other subjects, but today, Yun was complementing on Y/N's necklace.

"Y/N, where did you get that necklace? It's so cute."

Y/N held it between her thumb and pointer finger while smiling at the thought of when Jimin gifted it to her.

"It's a gift. Jimin gave it to me for our 1 year anniversary." Yun, just nodded and smiled at the necklace.

Soon they arrived. Both Y/N and Yun were heading to their classes, then Yun spoke.

"Y/N you want to come over after classes? We'll have a girls evening. Eat pizza, Talk about boys" she wiggles her brows at the last part and a cheeky smirk appears on her face. Y/N declines politely.

"I'm really sorry Yun. I'd love to, I just have a date with Jimin this afternoon. Yun pouted. She grabbed onto Y/N's arm and basically begged her to go later for at least five minutes. Y/N just gave in and accepted.

College was as boring as always. Her mind was just fixed on her and Jimins' date tonight. He said it would be extra especial because he had something planned. The school day was coming to an end, the teacher was finish the lesson and wiping the board. Once the last bell rang, the teacher dismissed everyone.

Y/N was never the athletic kind. But she ran so fast to get home. She had to spend time with Yun, but still have time to get ready for her date. About a block away from home, she noticed Jimins' car parked on the side of the street. She didn't overthink, but this was definitely Jimins' car. Once she got home, she walked inside and placed her bag on the couch. Made her way to the door and towards Yuns' house.

Jimins' P.O.V

Yun and I have been on this secret relationship ever since Y/N moved like three months ago. I know it's risky and we could get caught at any moment. But Yun, just gives me all the love Y/N doesn't. She's too focused on her studies. She said she loves me. I'm not really sure about that anymore. I was distracted from my thoughts when there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it" Yun said as she stood up from her spot on the couch. I grabbed her wrist. I pulled her down to sit again.

"I'll get it. But first." I stood up and pulled a small box from my pocket. I opened it. I hesitated before speaking. Looking at the box just reminded me of Y/N and all the times we spent together. She gave me the happiest moments of my life.

"We've only had a thing. How about we make this official?" Inside the box there was the same necklace I got for Y/N for our first year anniversary. Yun squealed and hugged me by the neck. She separated from the hug and I walked towards the door.

As I made my way to the door, I thought about Y/N. Had I made a bad decision? What was I going to tell her? As soon as I opened the door I closed it.

Y/N P.O.V

Did my eyes just play with me? Did I just see Jimin open the door to my neighbors house? I shrugged it off and decided to knock again. And once again, Jimin stood there, this time he didn't shut the door in my face. Then came Yun. She backed hugged him and rested her chin on his shoulder. When she let go of him, I noticed her neck. What was on her neck? The same necklace I had on. Had Jimin gifted her the same thing? I was baffled and so was Jimin. I could see it in his eyes. It's almost as if he wasn't expecting to see me. Oh wait, who would want to see their girlfriend catching them cheating? I took a step back.

"Y-Y/N" Jimin extended his right hand. I just looked at him and started running. I ran home, that was the only safe place at a moment like this. I opened the door and closed it behind me. Tears filled my eyes and I fell to the ground. I pulled my knees to my chest and sobbed. After a few minutes of crying, there was footsteps outside and they stopped right in front of my door. There was sniffles and a knock.

"Y-Y/N...." It was Jimin. I stayed quiet. There was more knocking. As much as my brain told me not to open the door, my body had other plans and moved on its own. There, on the doorway stood a red eyed Jimin. All of a sudden he hugged me. I struggled from his grasp and he let go.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what I was doing. It just happen-"

"How long has it been going on for?" I cut him off. I wasn't going to stand there listening to his stupid excuses. He looked down. I grabbed at the necklace hanging around my neck and pulled it off, throwing it at him.

"Go away. I don't want to see your face ever again Jimin." He looked back up and was about to speak.

"Just go."
