Selena's POV (The next day)

I was sitting in the girl's changing room and putting on my top. Alex wanted to stop by during the break and talk with the principal.

I ran out of the changing room and sat down on the floor.
"Okay, glad that the lady could stop by. We're going to start with Judo today." our gym teacher, Mr Spice, said.
Easy, I knew everything already.

As the only girl in this class, I had to be the test subject, but I got used to the fact that everyone saw the exercise as entertainment instead of exercise. I was about to get our teacher in a choke hold when the principal came running in.

"Excuse me, Miss Blackmoon, I have to talk to you in private." I simply nodded and we went to stand in a corner of the room.
"What's the matter, sir?" I asked and shuffled on my feet nervously.
"Miss, your sister had an accident and..."

He didn't need to say anything else, I knew what happened. I put my hands in front of my eyes and began to sob when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Something wrong, Selena?" Jack asked and I turned to him.
"Alex..." I stuttered and he pulled me into an embrace.
"It's gonna be okay." He whispered and began rubbing my back.

"Mr Johnson, could you perhaps bring Ms Blackmoon home?"
Jack nodded silently and pulled me into the changing room. He waited outside while I changed.

Today he took the bus to school instead of the motor bike. I leaned against him and he walked me home. I used all of my tissues when Jack pulled out an embroidered handkerchief and gave it to me.

He opened the door for me and I sat down on the couch. I got my blanket and pulled it up to my chin. Jack roamed around in the kitchen and made me a cup of hot chocolate. Then he sat next to me and put an arm around me.

He didn't say anything, just sat there. I didn't know why, but I was kind of glad that he was here instead of Maya. She would have talked and talked which was the opposite of what I needed right now.

My eyes were already red from crying so much.
Alex. Why her?
There were enough drivers, why did she have to die?
Now I had no one.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. "I got it." Jack said and got up.
"What are you doing here?!" Maya screamed.
"Be glad that I was there for her because you weren't!" he screamed back but calmed down soon after and let Maya in.
She was hugging me in a matter of seconds and sat where Jack was sitting just moments before.

"I'm so sorry, Selena!"

Jack ran his fingers through his hair and grabbed his jacket. "Seems like I'm not needed anymore." He hugged me one last time and walked out of the door. I wanted to thank him, but with Maya here...

She kept repeating how sorry she was and stayed with me for the rest of the day. But it was time to plan a burial.

Jack's POV (some hours earlier)

Gym class, always a fun experience. Especially because Selena was here and look gorgeous in her gym clothes. We would start with judo today but I hoped that Ryan and my little 'project' would work and that I could leave with the angel. But I had to pay attention now. Selena put Mr Spice into a choke hold. Note to self: She can defend herself. Suddenly the door opened and the principal entered.

"Excuse me, Miss Blackmoon, I have to talk to you in private." He said and walked into a corner of the room with my angel. He wouldn't talk to her 'alone', I'd make sure of that. I slowly walked in their direction and listened in on the conversation. Selena held her hands in front of her face and began sobbing. That was my chance.

I put a hand on her shoulder and asked:
"Something wrong, Selena?" She turned to me.
"Alex..." she stammered and I hugged her. Her skin was so soft.
"It's gonna be okay." I whispered and cautiously rubbed my hand on her back.

"Mr Johnson, could you perhaps bring Ms Blackmoon home?" asked the principal. That's what I was waiting for. I led Selena to the girl's changing room and got my jacket.

Ryan would get my stuff home. We left the building together and I thought about bringing her to my home. Bad idea. She looked beautiful even when she was sad.

I pulled her into my side and gave her one of my handkerchiefs. I opened the door for her when we reached her home and she sat down on the couch.
She shouldn't worry, I was there for her.

I found the ingredients for making hot chocolate in her kitchen and hoped that the sugar would help her feel better. I handed her the cup and sat down next to her. She had pulled the blanket up to her chin and look extremely adorable.

I put my arm around her and cautiously ran my fingers through her hair. She didn't seem to notice. I scooted closer to her but tried to uphold some distance. I could still hear her cry.

I pulled her even closer and put her head in my lap. Her blonde hair fell over my knees and I looked directly into her eyes. I thought about kissing her, but I was scared she would hate me. I let her mourn in peace until the doorbell rang, which startled her.

"I got it." I said and got up. I had hoped that it was Ryan but I was wrong.
"What are you doing here?!" Maya screamed at me.
"Be glad that I was there for her when because you weren't!" I screamed back but had to calm down soon after and let Maya in.
"I'm so sorry, Selena!" she said and hugged Selena. I considered staying longer, but I couldn't stand Maya. At. All.

I ran my fingers through my hair and grabbed my jacket.
"Seems like I'm not needed anymore." I said and hugged the most beautiful creature on earth. I left the house and walked home where Ryan was already waiting.
"And? Everything turns out alright? If you fucked it up...!" he said and leaned against a table. I grinned mischievously and sat down in a chair.
"It couldn't have gone better."

A/N: Aaaand she died. Another one gone.
