I was exhausted. Brandon knew it too, which is why after the meeting he insisted on taking me back to Ravenclaw tower with him.

They have the best coffee machine, so I didn't argue. (It could make lattes, and cappuccinos, and... It was the fucking bomb.) Plus, maybe I'd get to meet the girl who got Stefani blushing so much when Carolyn mentioned her. But that was just a hope.

B had intertwined our fingers, pulling me towards the Ravenclaw tower and smiling widely. I didn't know what all this touchy-feely stuff meant, I'm famously bad with feelings... But it made me smile and it made him smile and... that felt right. He looked at me and sighed, "Just... take this off." He said, starting to undo my tie. Right, the Ravenclaws were weird about their tower sometimes. With some people (like me, the Quidditch captain for another team).

I sighed, undoing the rest of the tie and shoving it in his pocket, "You better remember to give that back to me," I warned, pointing a finger in his face.

He smirked at me, "I'll see if I want to. Here." He tied his tie around my neck, smiling when he finished, "There."

"But now you're tieless," I pointed out, blushing as I noticed his hands were still on my tie. I took advantage of it, putting my hands on his chest and leaning onto him. "Won't that look suspicious?"

"Nah, everyone here knows me, I'm the Quidditch captain. You however, need to be identified," He smiled back at me, grabbing my hands. "Now come on, let's go, Gabs."

"Take me to the caffeine, oh wise one," I said, dropping my hands from his chest, but he doesn't drop my hand.

"I shall lead you there, oh young grasshopper." Brandon smiled, "Then we'll go up to the dorms or something to study before we leave,"

"Study Dumbledore and the Death Eaters, I assume?" I asked, smiling at him. I tried not to laugh at the awkward play to get me up to his room. (He could've just asked, it's not like we're going to have sex when we're studying someone's death).

"Yep, and maybe some History of Magic and DADA for good measure." He answered, smiling at me still. I couldn't help but hide behind my hair, his response to which was to pull me in front of him and wrap his arms around my waist, placing his head top of mine. "We gotta stay prepared, love."

I blushed deeply, glad he couldn't see me. "Just answer the riddle so we can get in please..."

He reached up and knocked on the door, and the knocker responded, "Has a tongue, but never talks. Has no legs, but sometimes walks."

Brandon looked confused, and I smirked, because I was a Gryffindor and I knew the answer. "It's a shoe, B." I said, and the door opened. I gasped, looking probably dumbfounded, because the door opened for me... I mean, I was almost in Ravenclaw so this makes sense I guess. I was literally under the sorting hat for almost fifteen minutes while it debated.

"And welcome to the world of the wise, Gabs." He smiled, slipping his hand into mine again as he led me towards the coffee machine.

"I've been in here before, B."

"I know, but you openned the door this time. That's a right of passage for most of us, you know. You truly could be one of us now." He whispered, not wanting to give away that I was, in fact, a Gryffindor.

I rolled my eyes, "B, I'm the captain of another team. I don't think you need the competition." I teased, sticking my tongue out at him.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever, Tomes. Come on, or else I'm not getting you your Carmel latte."

"No, don't you dare threaten me with caffeine withdrawl!" I begged, whining as he dragged me towards the machine.

Once we had my coffee we walked across the common room to get to the dorms, and I spotted Stef, Carolyn, and two people I didn't really recognize. "We gotta meet them." I whispered to B, walking briskly towards the group.

"Hey kiddos, your cool mom is here to ruin the fun." I joked, smiling at the two girls.

Carolyn looked down, shaking her head, "Gabi, oh my God..."

"Mom, you don't ruin the fun! You just make it that much better." Stef smiled, and I laughed.

"Thanks, Stef. Hi you two, I'm Gabi. I am not actually their mothers, but also I am."

The boy waved, "Hi, I'm Percy. I'm a fifth year Hufflepuff." He smiled nervously, shaking his leg.

The girl barely looked up at me, "Natasha Romonov, call me Nat." She sighed, "Fifth year, Ravenclaw."

I nodded, "Nice to meet you guys. Also, sixth year Gryffindor." I added, forgetting the blue and gray tie around my neck.

"Gryffindor?" Percy asked, obviously confused and motioning to my tie.

"Oh- he, Brandon just-" I fumbled for words, "It's not mine, I'm the Gryffindor Quidditch captain."

"She is, it's true." Nat said, "They're our biggest competition, despite our captains being all over each other."

We both rolled our eyes, "We're not all over each other!"

"Whatever you say..." Nat said, rolling her eyes at Stef, who held back a laugh.

"So, you guys are coming with us?" B asked, lightly placing an arm around my waist again.

"Yeah, I am. You guys could use someone who has physical training." Nat replied, which was nice. It was actually true, because I know she's done acrobatics of some sort and she'll be nice to have around muggles so that we don't have to obliviate a bunch of them.

"I guess so, I mean, Carolyn asked me and she's really pretty and cool and spending time with her would be awesome and yeah." Percy nodded, moving a bit so that he and Carolyn's legs were touching, "Also, it felt wrong to say no when I could be saving my friends and family, you know." He shrugged.

I smiled at a blushing Carolyn, "Great. Well, we're gonna go prepare for the quest. Which hopefully won't be too dangerous."

"Use protection you two!" Stef yelled after us, as I laughed.

I lightly punched Brandon in the arm, "I can't believe you lied to me about the tie." I said, still not making any movements to take it off though. It was like the Hogwarts version of stealing a guy's hoodie, I guess.

"Hey! Okay, maybe I just thought you'd look cute in a Ravenclaw tie, but I was right." He smirked, "By the way, you look beautiful." He took out his phone, taking a picture of me sipping my latte. "And new phone background."

"Oh no you didn't! I need one of you then, you-" He opened the door to the sixth year guys dorm and it was empty, weird. I sat down on his bed, shaking my head and taking out my phone, "Smile, bitch."

He made a cute face at me and I laughed, "There's my background then. Eye for an eye, babe."

"Hey, Gabs?" He asked, sitting down next to me.

"Yeah, B?" I responded, turning to look up at him and smile.

And then he just kissed me, hands on my hips, leaning down quickly... He kissed me.

God. I leaned back, my hands around his neck, "I've been wondering when we'd do that, B." I smirked, sighing.

"I was hoping little Miss bravery over here at Gryffindor would step up, but I figured it was time." He smiled, pulling me closer to him so that I could put my head on his chest, "I look forward to being able to do it again in the future, love."

"I would agree with that, darling." I sighed, "Now, studying."

"Yes, of course. Studying." He smiled, but didn't move, "What if we just... stay like this for a minute?"

I nodded, "Okay. Do you think that they're betting on if we're having sex right now or not?"

"Probably. But we're not, because you know, studying."

"Of course, studying."
