Chapter 10

I awoke the next morning to a "Jesus Christ Mea!!!" and a slamming of the door as I felt a blanket thrown over me. Barely opening my eyes I turned to see Z awkwardly standing in my room scowling at me.

"It is too early for your scowls so either explain what I could have possibly have done before I even opened my eyes or get the hell out!" I grumbled.

"You are lucky that I was the one to open the door, seeing you naked and sprawled across your bed."

Feeling my face heat with embarrassment as I grabbed the blanket that Z had put over me tightly to my chest, glaring at him, "Well the others would have knocked before attempting to come in. You are the only one who acts like he owns the place and makes his own rules."

"Well I didn't expect to find you without any clothes on, that's for sure."

"It was hot and I was tired and you all had already crashed so I didn't see a problem with it!"

"You should not be sleeping nude with any men in your house."

"Trust me Z, if there is a man in this house and more specifically in my bed if I choose to sleep naked I will! Now get out so I can get dressed!"

I watched as he grabbed the door and wrenched it open, slamming it shut behind him as he left. Asshole! He comes in uninvited and then has the nerve to censor me! I've had enough of this horseshit, I wanted him gone so this unpacking needed to go fast!

Luckily everyone else seemed to be of the same frame of mine, Tink had gone out for coffee and we all started in immediately putting the items to rights until the final box was emptied around noon. The finally touches would be arriving tomorrow evening from the furniture store but the guys would not be needed for that so with great satisfaction I told them that we were even for the bail out so were free to leave.

After another shower to clean up from the packing I needed to go for a ride. I needed to take dragon out for a drive, god how I missed driving her but the city was no place to take a girl like her. With that thought in mind I went to see if Tawny wanted to go to the MC for anything, so stopping in her doorway,

"Hey I am going to see Pops and get Dragon out for a drive, wanna go to the MC?"

"No, I think I am good here! I am going to finish organizing my stuff and then make a grocery list for us and see if I have everything I need for work tomorrow."

"Alright, suit yourself but call me if you need something. I will send Tink back over with the SUV."

"Sounds good! Have fun!"

"You know it!" I said with a wave as I grabbed the SUV keys, quickly climbing in and off to the MC. Pulling into Pops spot I threw Tink's the keys on the way into the MC, yelling that he was going to need to drive it back over to Tawny later as she had some errands she wanted to run. With a nod he acknowledged he heard me, so I continued on my way into the clubhouse.

I let the door close to the clubhouse behind me but had to wait for a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to be able to see clearly, in that moment I actually wished I was blind as straight ahead when my vision cleared up what greeted me... Candace facing Z, straddling him, imploring him to take her back to his room again and show her a good time like they had the other night.

I could feel the bile rising up in my throat, I needed to shove it down. I knew that there was only one thing that was going to work, looking towards the bar I saw Pike watching me but I didn't bother with the swill behind the bar, I walked past the end, straight into the store room.

That is where they kept the good whiskey, reserved for a select few and I wanted it. The good stuff never made it out of this room unless it was bound straight for Pops' office but in this case I think he would forgive me as I found one of the bottles and twisted the top off, took a big slug.
