Armed with our list we filled up the cart with all the things we needed and then some...when they ( I have no clue who "they" are) tell you not to shop when you are hungry... take the suggestion to heart. I hadn't finished my lunch since I was so pissed at Z and now walking around a grocery store everything looked too damn good and I was having a hard time not over spending as I imagined all the delicious meals that I could cook, but wouldn't as I didn't have the patience to cook.

As we waited in line to pay for the groceries I remembered I need to check and see if my prescription was ready and for a few other things at the drug store, so leaving Tawny with some money I headed over. I wandered the isles picking up the few things I needed and a few things I decided I needed when I saw them, then stopped back at the pharmacy.

I waited for the Pharmacist as he ensured I knew the interactions that could affect my medication and that timing when taking it was very important too, giving him a solemn nod of understanding paid for everything and made my way back out of the store.

I put my bags into the backseat of the SUV that we had parked along the main road between the grocery and pharmacy and turned around to see if Tawny was coming. I gave a little gasp of surprise as a man moved into my personal space, his nearness making the hair along the back of my neck stand up .

"Can I help you?"

"Well you're a looker just like he said!"

"Excuse me?"

"Even more of a prize knowing you belong to the young Prince."

"What are you talking about, I belong to no one! Who the hell are you?" I started to get worried, but hid behind defensive bravado I went on the offensive.

My attitude seemed to set him off as he shoved me back against the SUV, pushing his body against mine he tangled his hand in my hair holding my head painfully still, "But if you were my piece you would know your manners and not be talking to me like that again!"

"Like fuc-" my reply was cut off by a brutal kiss meant to do nothing more than punish me as he bit my lip, making me bleed.

"You taste far sweeter than your mouth would lead one to believe, and your body...Damn! You can feel what your tight little body is doing to me can't you girl?"

"Please-"

"That's right beg! Hearing you beg sounds sexy as hell, I can just imagine the fun I am going to have with that mouth doing more than begging. But we're out of time, so you tell the Prince we know his contacts and his plans and we are watching... he won't get through again!"

Having delivered his message he gave me another brutal kiss, grabbing my ass and rubbing me against his erection licking the blood off his lips from the bite he had inflicted on mine he met my eyes with a chilling promise in his.

"Hey, get away from her you gutter rat!" I heard over his shoulder as he Tawny came out of the store.

Throwing a smirk over his shoulder at her, he gave my ass one final squeeze, "See you real soon Princess!"

I heard Tawny come running, the cart clanking away in front of her as she made it to my side, looking back at the man as he got on his bike, she threw me a look of alarm as she noticed the patch on the back of his cut as he drove off, giving a little wave as he took off.

"What did he want?"

"Directions."

"Directions?"

"Yup, on how to go straight to hell."

"Mea-"

"Leave it alone Tawny, it doesn't matter what he wants it won't happen. I won't be used as a pawn no matter what they threaten."
