Castiels POV

"You okay?" Castiel asked, looking over at Dean. They had been watching Sherlock for a few hours. Thank god it was Saturday. Dean looked at him.

"I'm fine. Thank you for staying with me." Dean smiled at him. Castiel smiled. Dean reached up, running his fingers through Cas's hair. "It looks better messed up." Dean smiled at him.

"Oh... um thanks." Cas stammered, not sure what to say. "Do you want some lunch?" It was nearly noon. Dean just nodded, staring at Cas.

Cas just got up, moving into Dean's kitchen and started making grilled cheese. He began humming as he cooked. He began singing out loud to the song.

"I'm an angel with a shotgun, fighting till the wars won, I don't care if heaven wont take me back" He sang, his voice fitting the song perfectly. He quickly finished the grilled cheese, and turned around to see Dean staring at him with wide eyes.

"Cas. Wow. You can really sing." Dean still had a shocked expression. Cas tilted his head in confusion.
"Thank you, Dean. Are you alright? You look quite shocked." Dean just shook his head.

"I'm fine, Cas. Thanks for asking." Cas nodded, and they ate ther food, before going back and continuing to watch Sherlock.

Cas woke up. He was still on Dean's couch, Deans head was now on his shoulder, and his arm thrown across Cas's lap. That's when he heard the front door slam. Cas looked up, to see a man standing there slack jawed at the display of affection his son was unknowingly showing.

John looked at Castiel. "Who are you, and what are you doing with my son?" He wasn't yelling, but his tone indicated that he was not pleased.

"I'm Castiel. Dean and I are just friends, sir." Castiel gulped. John was not a man that Castiel wanted to mess with.

"Yeah okay. I'll tell you what. If you get out of my house right now, I won't beat you to a pulp." John snarled.

"Dean is coming with me." Castiel could hear the fear in his own voice.

"The hell he is, boy." John took a step towards him. Castiel just pushed Dean off of him, waking him up. Castiel just wordlessly grabbed Dean's hand, pulling him out the door before John could even get aword in edgewise.

"Cas?" Dean asked, as Cas pulled him towards the impala.

"You're father was going to beat you if I didn't bring you with me. You, Sam, Gabe, and I are going on a road trip." Cas glared back towards the house.

Dean sighed, and began driving to Castiel's house. Cas packed enough of Gabriel and his own clothes so that they wouldn't have to go back to Dean's house.

They found Sam and Gabe in Gabe's room, cuddling and watching Netflix.

"Get in losers, we're going shopping." Dean laughed as Sam turned bright red, as being walked in on cuddling with your boyfriend by your brother is not fun.

They all eventually piled into the car, Sam texting John saying they wouldn't be home for a few days, Gabe sending the same to Anna. And so they were off.

Sam's POV:

"Gabriel. You're great, but get off of me." Sam deadpanned. They had been in the car for the past four hours. Only Dean and Cas knew where they were going. They had gotten out of Kansas about two hours ago, and were now in Arkansas. He and Gabe still had no idea where they were going.

"Deeeaaaannnnn. Where are we goinggggg?"Sam whined.

"Up your butt and to the left." Dean deadpanned. Sam just rolled his eyes.

"Be nice, Dean." Cas scolded.

Sam and Gabriel exchanged looks. It was so obvious that their two brothers were in love. They were just so oblivious to that fact. It was really starting to annoy the younger brothers.

"We need to get them together this week." Sam whispered to Gabriel. Gabe's eyes lit up.

"Sammy you are a genius! What should we do?" Gabe asked excitedly. "Destiel NEEDS to happen!" Gabe whisper-shouted.

"What was that? Castiel asked, turning and glaring at the two boys in the back seat.

"Nothing!" They said in unison. Cas just looked at them suspiciously.

"Okay. Dean, lets stop at a motel in an hour or two. These two are starting to drive me nuts." Cas leaned towards Gabe, smacking him because he had been making faces at Cas.

"I am Castiel. Dean, I love you so much. We are best friends though. I'm just going to act like I'm not in love with you." Gabriel made his voice deeper, imitating Cas. Castiel promptly turned beat red.

"I'm not- I mean... I'm not! Gabriel why are you so annoying?" Cas managed to stammer out. Dean chuckled.

"Love you too, Cas." He said playfully. "My best friend." He imitated Cas as well, much to the latter's annoyance.

Sam and Gabe just rolled their eyes. Really, how dense were they? All the clues were there! That was how it went for the next hour. Sam and Gabe being ridiculously obvious, and their brothers just turning it around, barely even noticing the implications.

They arrived at a small motel, checking in to two rooms. Sam grabbed Gabe. "I'M ROOMING WITH GABE!" Sam shouted. Dean just rolled his eyes.

Sam grabbed the key from Dean, pulling Gabe towards their room, leaving their brothers in the dust.

"Do you really think they are that dense? Or are they just so far in denial that they are tuning us out?" Gabe asked as they reached their room. Sam shrugged, pausing to think for a moment.

"Probably both. We all know how dense Dean is. And Cas doesn't seem like he is super bright when it comes to relationships." Sam observed. "Wait. Does Cas like guys?"

Gabe laughed. "Umm. Yeah. Good on that one." He replied. Sam just laughed. They soon began planning getting the friends together. Cas and Dean wouldn't know what hit them.

(Hey! So today I actually planned out what I want to happen from now until around chapter thirteen. Maybe fourteen. So my updates should be coming regularly again for sure. Anyways, some fluff, some angst is coming. Also, do you guys want me to introduce Michifer in here, or should I keep it just Sabriel/Destiel? Because I have a few ideas, but I could also write that as a second book [I wouldn't begin it until this one is almost done/done.] I don't know. Comment which one you guys want. Thanks!

Hailey)
