Deans POV:
It was cold. There was a light at the end. He began walking towards it, done with the dark. That's when he heard the screams. Sam. His anguished cries echoed through the hall. He kept running. Castiel's cries soon joined Sam's.
He reached the light. He stepped into it, only to see Sam and Cas strapped to a table. He just stood there, shocked. They cried for help, but Dean couldn't move. That's when he felt the blade against his back.
He cried in pain, but it didn't stop. He stumbled forward, and John was there. He smiled, and suddenly Sam and Cas's bodies were covered in scars. Some old, some new. John laughed as they cried in pain.
"DEAN! DEAN!" Cas was crying. "DEAN!"
Something cold hit his face. He shot up out of the bed, feeling the water drip down his face. He opened his mouth, about to yell, before the sight of a very disheveled, distraught Cas stopped him short.
"Cas?" Dean questioned, wondering why Cas was still there after last night. Surely he was going to leave him, after what he walked in on last night.
"It's okay, Dean. It was only a nightmare. I'm here." Cas said soothingly. Dean hadn't realized it until now, but he was shaking. Cas, realizing he had just processed what was happening, leaned in, pulling Dean into a hug.
"Why... why are you being so nice to me? After last, after last night?" Dean stuttered, trying with all his might not to cry. Cas pulled back, staring Into Dean's eyes.
"Because I care about you. I'm worried about you. We need to talk about it, but not until you've calmed down. I know what you're feeling. I'm here for you, Dean. I want to help you." Cas smiled gingerly, wiping a stray tear from Dean's cheek.
"Thank you, Cas. Can we talk about it now? I want to get it over with." Dean took a breath. Cas just nodded, and that was the only que Dean needed.
"It all started when I was four. Sammy was six months. There was a house fire, and my mom died. Dad went crazy. He has a job, I don't know what it is, but he's gone for week on end. Uncle Bobby checksin on us from time to time." Dean swallowed.
"I'm so sorry Dean." Cas said.
"It was a long time ago. Anyways, after a few years, he began telling me I was worthless. Occasionally, he would beat me. And I let him. Until he hit Sam. Then I fought back, and ever since he has been emotionally abusing me nonstop, and hits me when he is really mad." Dean could feel his cheeks heating up with anger.
"Oh my god Dean. No one should have to go through that. I'm so sorry." Castiel just sat there in shock. Dean deserved so much better than that.
"Thanks. I'm just glad I met you Cas. I don't know what I would have done without you this time." Dean smiled sadly at Cas.
"I'm glad I met you too, Dean. But... the cutting. Dean." Cas swallowed, hoping Dean wouldn't push him away.
"That's the third time I've ever cut, but it's been the worst. Cas, I don't want to do that again! I don't want to be like this!" Dean was getting himself worked up.
"Shh," Cas soothed. "I'm here. You won't do it again. Anytime you feel the need to cut, call me. I'll come over and we can talk or something. No matter what. I don't want you getting hurt." Cas grabbed Dean's hand. "Please."
Dean looked down at their entwined hands. He could feel his cheeks heating up. Now, of all times, his feelings for Cas had to start messing with his brain.
"Okay." Dean sighed. Cas just smiled at him. They just sat on the bed for a while, silently enjoying each others company.
Gabes POV:
"I'll have a slice of your chocolate cake, and could you put some extra sprinkles on it?" Gabriel requested. He saw Sam roll his eyes.
"I'll just have some strawberry sorbet." Sam smiled at the waitress. She smiled flirtatiously at him.
"Sure thing cutie." She winked at him. Gabe glared at her as she walked away. That was his moose she was hitting on!
They chatted for a few minutes before the waitress came back with the food. A number was on a napkin, which she handed to Sam.
"Call me, hot stuff." She winked. "I'm Jess."
Gabe growled. He leaned over the table, placing a firm kiss on Sam's lips. He pulled away after a second, because they were in public. Jess looked shocked.
"What the hell!" She exclaimed. "That is disgusting. You guys are going to hell." She looked Sam in the eyes. "Unless you want to come with me. I can show you how to love... women." She winked at him.
Sam just squirmed in his seat.
"Listen, lady. Not only was that an incredibly rude thing to say, but that's my boyfriend you are hitting on. Now get away from us. Quit while you aren't to far down the hole." Gabe interjected.
"Fine. Fags." She stated bluntly. That was it. Gabe threw twenty bucks on the table, grabbed Sam's hand, and dragged him out of the diner. As they neared Gabe's house, Sam stopped him.
"Gabe. Are you okay?" Sam asked. Gabe just huffed. "Hey. Gabriel. I am all yours. I don't care what she said In there." Sam pulled Gabe into a hug.
I don't deserve Sam. Gabe thought. Sam was so nice, so caring, understanding. Gabe was hotheaded, and had a lot more issues than anyone thought.
"Thanks, Samantha." Gabe replied. Screw it. He was going to be selfish. He was falling, falling quickly damnit.
They got back. Gabe crawled into bed.
"You can sleep with me, if you want." Gabe offered, cheeks red. Sam just nodded, laying down next to him. Gabe moved over closer to Sam, laying his head on his shoulder. "Goodnight, Samsquatch." Gabe said softly.
"Goodnight, Gabe." Sam replied.
That was the best sleep either of them had had in months.
(I know that it's a little bit short, but two updates in a row! I'm feeling inspired, so there will be another update later this week again. I'm just slowly getting more and more busy with theatre and diving. So I'll update regularly, but probably only once a week starting the next two weeks. Thank you so much for reading and voting! You have no idea how much it means to me that people actually read my work and enjoy it. I know it's a bit full of angst right now, but it will right itself sometime relatively soon. If anyone has any suggestions, comment or something and I might be able to work it in somewhere. Specifically Sabriel. I'm sort of running out of idea's for them right now. Thank you!
Hailey)
