{Braxton POV}

Three Hours Earlier...

Today was the day I told my parents I was pregnant. I was gonna wait a little longer but I really just need to get this off my chest before I explode. I already know my mom will end up popping off on me and possibly kill me. As for my dad, he'll obviously be calm about the situation. Hudson and Dinah are not coming because they're busy, I'm sure they'll find out by mom and dad.

As I was done getting ready, the doorbell rang, so I went downstairs and opened the door. My mom was looking beautiful as always but she didn't have a smile on her face but my dad did. "Hi, guys. How are you?" I greeted.

"Good." They said in unison, then stepped into the house. We went into the living room, sat down on the couch and got comfortable.

"So, what did you call us over here for?" My mom asked.

"Well, I have something really big to tell you guys and all I ask of you mom is to not get angry with me. Is that a deal?"

My mom and dad went completely silent for quite sometime before my mother finally speaking. "You're pregnant, aren't you?"

... Oh, shit.

How did she know? Did Dale or Lara tell her? Nah, it couldn't have been them, I would have known. But the real question is, why hasn't she gone crazy yet if she already knew I was pregnant?

"Who told you?"

"No one, you made it pretty obvious."

"So you're not mad?

"Hell yeah, I'm mad. I just can't beat your ass because I don't want to hurt my grandchild."

"Mom, you have to understand that I wasn't planning on having a child so soon. This all is so unexpected."

"Braxton, I have always told you to use protection when you start having sex, you didn't listen. Now you have to man up and deal with the consequences. Now, bye. C'mon, Jaden."

My dad seemed like he didn't want to go but he still did what he was told. As they left, I have seen so much disappointment and pity in my father's eyes. I really needed someone, someone who'd understand what I'm going through and tell me that everything is going to be okay. I couldn't call Dale, so I called Lara.

I couldn't find my phone anywhere in the house, so I decided to check by the pool because I was out their earlier. And to my surprise, it was on the lawn chair.

Lara: Hello.

Me: Hey, Lara. It's, Braxton.

Lara: Oh, hey. What's up?

Me: Nothing much, I just told my parents that I'm pregnant and it did not go well.

Lara: Really, what happened?

Me: They're basically disappointed in me.

Lara: Even after you told them you were raped?

Me: That's the thing, I didn't tell them about that part or Dale when he found out I was pregnant.

Lara: You really need to tell them, especially Dale. I don't want my brother raising a child thinking it's his, even though it's really not.
