Lauren smoothed out her skirt, rocking Quinn in her lap as she listen intently. It was Ty's court day and she had managed to get a week off from the tour to support Ty. Support.
The day after Lauren had told Ty to own up to what he had done, she learned that I truly wasn't his fault. Lauren had to admit that she did feel horrible for making him feel like it was his fault and she had blurted out apologies left and right for the past three days no matter how many times he told her that he wasn't upset with her.
Ty's lawyer had told the couple that there was a very big chance of no jail time, which was a huge relief, but that didn't mean there wouldn't be some sort of punishment like community service. But both Ty and Lauren decided they would take a couple hours of that than years in jail.
"Mr. Griffin, how do you plead?" The judge in the black robe asked Ty.
"Not guilty, your honor." Ty said without hesitation.
-
"Good God, he's getting so big, Lauren. You need to bring home over more often." Ty's mom said to the younger mom sitting across from her.
"You know I would if I could." Lauren commented, grabbing Ty's hand and kissing the back of it.
He had been found not guilty, not that it was a big surprise to anyone. Ty's attorney was able to convince the judge that the drugs weren't his and was able lower his community service (which was originally fifty hours) to a total of fifteen hours in total. Quinn wasn't brought up into any of the trial and that was tremendous relief to Lauren. They had decided to go out to celebrate Ty's win with Ty's family and Alexa, who had decided she would spend an extra week in L.A. to help out with Quinn a little.
Lauren looked up to her distracted boyfriend and smiled at him, loving the way his smile was practically contagious as he talked to his sister about music. She laid her head on his should and snuggled up against his arm, never taking her eyes off his face. Eventually he most have noticed the way Angel was looking at her weirdly as he stopped his conversation and looked down at her.
"Hi," He said in his famous raspy voice. His unoccupied hand ran through her lose wavy hair. "Did you need something?"
"Attention. I'm lonely." She giggled. "It's been like years since you've given me the attention I need."
"I don't know," Ty said as he took in a sharp breath through his teeth. "I think a year and half of attention should be enough to hold you over for a few minutes."
"Only a year and half? I think I need more attention." She laughed and bent up to peck his lips before looking into his eyes. "You know, I'm proud of you."
"Well thank you, mama. But I think I should be the one who's proud of you."
"Hush," She blushed while biting her lower lips. "I think we should go home."
"Oh? And why's that?"
"I think I can give you a good reason." She whispered and cupped him through his jeans.
He hummed and grabbed her hand that continued to massage him from above his clothes. "Sounds interesting. Tell me more."
"Why should I tell you when I could just show you?" She smiled. Suddenly, she was out of her seat and being pushed out the restaurant doors while Ty asked -more like told- his mom to watch Quinn for the night.
They spent the rest of the tangled in the sheets, bodies connected in the most intimate way possible.
-
A week later she was saying goodbye to her small family at the airport once again. The second time sure as hell didn't get any easier from the first time around. Their conversation pretty well went like the first time she left. She told Ty to call her if he needed absolutely anything, that she expected calls at any time possible, and that she would try her damn best to come back before Quinn's doctors appointment in four weeks.
