"Go to Resembool. You need to stay safe," I said.

"You need to come with me. If you stay here, they're going to find you and kill you."

"I just don't want them to kill you," I said.

"But my life isn't complete without you, Envy."

"I know, but I want to make sure our lives are completely safe. I want to spend my future with you, Y/N. I want to love you day in and day out." She smiled and tears slipped from her eyes. I wiped them away and kissed her cheek, "I'll return, my love."

But before I could walk away, she grabbed my shirt and pulled me towards her face. She smashed her lips against mine. Before I could react, she forced her tongue into my mouth. Overwhelmed, I couldn't breathe for a second. But she kept at it. I eventually placed my hands on her shoulders and pushed her away. I took in a deep breath and kissed her once more. I slid my tongue across hers and she pulled away after a few seconds passed.

"Don't go," she whispered to me.

I kissed her cheek and looked at her, "I have to protect the people I love." I kissed her once more and ran off. I hated leaving her. Even two hundred years ago, I hated to leave her. But now, I need to protect her. This time, I will do everything I can to make sure she's safe. I'm not going to let her down now. I ran back towards their lair to see the bulky man-dog and the man controlling him.

"What are we going to do, Michael?" the bulky man asked.

"You tell me, Miles. I have no clue where they went. It's all your damn fault you let them get away!"

"No it's not," he said.

"You lost their scent and guess what happens when dogs misbehave?"

"Not the water bottle," Miles said.

Michael pulled out a spray bottle and sprayed Miles's nose. He barked and rubbed the water off. He squirted him once more and Michael tried to fight back.

"I don't want to be part of this mission anymore!"

"Too bad," Michael said. "You're a loyal dog and I need you to be with me while we do this mission. All of our other men had been killed by Envy."

Miles growled and pushed Michael up against a wall, "I'm tired of you pushing me around! I want out, Michael!"

"Bad dog! Heel!"

"You're not my master!"

He pulled Michael away from the wall and slammed him into the ground. He growled and walked towards where I was standing. I ran out and waited for him to leave. He sniffed around for a moment then continued walking away from the wall. I ran back down to see Michael was still lying on the ground.

"How does it feel to get what you deserve?" I asked as I walked up to him.

"It doesn't feel great at all," he said.

"I'll let you on a little secret."

"That is?"

I turned my hand into a dagger and stabbed him in the chest. He coughed up blood and tried to pull my hand out. I dug it in further and he looked up at me.

"Why are you doing this?"

"To protect, my life and the future I can have."

"You will never have a future with her. She will never love a monster like you!"

I drove it even deeper, even though I was driving my hand into the ground. "To hell with you!"

He spat out some blood and his breathing slowed down until he wasn't breathing anymore. I ripped my hand out and wiped the blood off on his clothes. I spat next to his head.

"Have fun with Greed in hell. Tell him an old friend of his said hello."

I walked away and out of the liar. As I exited, Miles was standing in front of me.

"You killed him didn't you?" he asked.

"I did."

"He's such an ass isn't he?"

"He is."

"I won't be a problem to you or your girlfriend. I will make sure no harm comes to you."

"Thank you for the protection, but I think we're ok."

"I'm sorry about killing her dog."

"Yeah. She's pretty upset about it."

"I'm also sorry on trying to kill you guys."

"Don't think of what happened a few hours ago. Think towards the future."

He nodded and walked off. I ran towards her house and grabbed a few of my things I needed. I headed towards the train station and purchased a ticket to Resembool. When the train arrived, I sat down and waited for the train to arrive in Resembool.

When it did arrive, it was almost dark. I got off the train and was tackled into a hug. I almost fell back into the train car. I caught myself and noticed H/C hair in my face. I smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"I've been waiting for you for over three hours!" she cried in my shoulder.

I stroked her hair, "I'm sorry to keep you waiting."

She pulled away and intertwined her hand with mine, "My relatives are waiting to see you."

We walked out of the station and towards her family's house. It was farther than what I imagined. And it wasn't in the direction towards Winry's house. There was a small house coming into sight. We walked to the porch and walked through the door.

"Aunt May, I'm home!" she said.

"Y/N, you've been gone for so long!" her aunt said.

"I was just waiting for him."

Her aunt came out and she smiled at me.

"You must be Envy. So nice to finally meet you. Y/N has told me so much about you," she said.

I shook her hand and smiled, "It's nice to meet you."

"You must have had a long and tiring day. I'll let you two get your rest."

Y/N led my up the stairs and into a room we were sharing. I walked into the room and Y/N closed the door behind us. I laid down on the bed and she came over and rested her head on my shoulder. I turned to face her and she buried her face in my chest. I rubbed her back as I kissed her forehead.

"I thought you'd never come back," she whispered.

"I would never leave you, Y/N. I love you too much."

She looked up at me and pecked my lips.

"I love you too, Envy."
