I woke up to the feeling of something biting my hand. I woke up to see Axel biting my hand. I sighed and ripped my hand from his mouth, only to find him grip harder.

"You damn dog won't let go! I am not going to hurt Y/N!" I said through gritted teeth as I tried my best to get my hand out of his mouth. He still wouldn't let go. I grabbed the top of his snout and tried to pry his mouth open. I almost got his mouth open, but I found a terrible sight. My hand was bleeding. And my regeneration wasn't helping. It was slowly helping me, but it wasn't as fast as it once was. I ripped my hand from his mouth to see blood dripping onto the floor. "I need a new philosopher's stone," I whispered. I was about to wash the floor, since there was blood everywhere, Y/N woke up.

"Morning, Envy," she said.

"M-morning, Y/N," I said, trying the best I could to hide my bleeding hand. I grabbed my sweatshirt and wrapped it up. Thank goodness I learned how to wash blood from clothing.

"Where are you going?" she asked as I made my way to the bathroom.

"I've got to go to the bathroom."

"With your sweatshirt?"

"I'm a bit cold."

"Why don't you just put it on?"

"I'll do that in a moment."

I walked into the bathroom and closed the door. I sighed, set the sweatshirt in the bathtub, and looked at my bleeding hand. My regeneration started to kick in, but the bleeding was still there. I sighed and washed my hand. I winced as the water stung. I finished cleaning it and wrapped it up in some gauze. I wasn't going to hide that for long. I grabbed my sweatshirt and put it on. I might have to go to the laundromat to wash this actually. I walked out of the bathroom to see Y/N petting Axel. Oh no. She looked at his mouth and saw blood.

"Axel, how did you get blood on your mouth?"

The dog barked and then looked at me. Shit. She walked over and stared right at me.

"What the hell did you do to my dog?"

"The hell did I do? More like what the hell he did to me!" I yelled as I removed my left sleeve, revealing the gauze.

"What happened?" she asked.

"I was sleeping, minding my own business, and then your dog started to bite my hand! I tried to rip it out, but he wouldn't let go! And now there are bite marks and there are possibly going to be long scars on my hand."

"You're a homunculus! You can heal yourself."

I stood there in silence. "Is there a laundromat close by?"

"There's one a few blocks down from here."

"Good," I said as I grabbed my wallet from my pants.

"Where are you going?" she asked as I walked towards the door.

"Where do you think?" I snarled.

"Why do you need to go there?" she asked.

"I need to wash the blood from my sweatshirt." I walked out of the house and down towards the laundromat. While I was walking, I was thinking of how I was going to get a philosopher's stone. All of the other homunculi are gone and I don't want to have to kill a lot to get the stone. I made it to the laundromat and took off my sweatshirt and put it in a washer. I sat there and waited as I looked at my still bleeding hand. It had bled through the gauze. Looks like I needed to re-wrap it. I finished at the laundromat and started walking back to the house when I was stopped by someone.

"Excuse me?" someone asked.

"What do you want?" I asked and turned around. I almost dropped to my knees. Those same brownish-black eyes. How was this possible? She had the same hair length and the same smile. "W-who are you?"

"I think you know who I am," she smiled.

"But, you died almost two hundred and fifty years ago," I said.

"Never heard of incarnation?"

Tears filled my eyes as I looked at her, "I never thought I'd see the day where I saw you again."

"I'm standing here in front of you, aren't I?" she joked.

I smiled and wrapped my arms around her waist. Her's wrapped around my neck. I buried my head into her shoulder as I let out silent sobs.

"Shh. There there my child. It'll be alright."

"I thought I'd never see you again. Even if incarnation wasn't real."

"I'm here, Envy. I'm here."

"I know you are, Becca."

I pulled away from her and wiped away my tears, "I'm glad to see you're doing alright."

"I'm happy to see you're still around."

I smiled nervously, "Well being a homunculus has its perks."

"Your mind seems to be struggling. What's the matter, my son?" I sighed. I unwrapped my hand and let Becca see it. She gasped and instantly took my hand and inspected it. She was just like I remembered. "What happened? I thought a homunculus can regenerate."

"We can. But my philosopher's stone seems to be depleting. I either need to find another stone or kill enough people to make one," I said.

She shook her head, "I did not raise you to kill for your own purposes."

"I know, mother," I said. I never thought I'd say those words.

"You're just going to have to face the facts, Envy. Not everyone can be immortal."

I sighed, "I found her."

"What?"

"I found her. Y/N."

"You did?"

"I found her yesterday at a cafe I usually go to. I didn't think I'd see her after all this time. Wait, if you're a reincarnation of Becca, does that mean there's a reincarnation of Edward and Alphonse Elric?"

"There could be a chance, Envy."

"I hope to see you again, Becca."

I ran off, not realizing my hand was still bleeding. I didn't know where to run to. I had no clue. But I did have an idea. If there was a reincarnation of Edward and Alphonse Elric, then they must be somewhere in Resembool. I just hope they're older than fifteen and know alchemy.
