Margo's POV

Today's event went way better than I thought it would. I hardly felt over whelmed and I had a great bonding moment with my dad. It kinda feels like a weights been lifted off my shoulders. No more hiding who I am. Unfortunately though I still have one issue I need to work through. For now it's about my family though. Dad and I spent the day answering question after question. When it came time to leave I was past ready. We got in the car and I fell asleep while we drove home.

I woke up to the movement of the car stopping and my dad opening my door. "Good morning sleepy head" dad says opening my door. I wave and get out of the car. When we get inside everyone splits and heads into their rooms. I instantly change out of my fancy clothes and into sweatpants and a hoodie. That's the best part of the night is finally being in comfortable clothes.

"I just came to say goodnight and thank you for not freaking out" Dad says popping my door open and coming into my room.

"Thank you for everything you've done for me since I've got here. I don't know where I'd be if you hadn't let me stick around" I say as I'm pulling my extra pillows off my bed.

"Good news is you'll never have to be with out my amazing influence again. Now come here and hug me so I can go to bed" Dad says waving me over. I laugh and walk over and give him a hug.

"You know you may have everyone fooled but you really are just a big teddy bear aren't you" I say looking up at him once I pulled away.

"I don't know what you're talking about kid, I just enjoy the occasional hug" He says walking out of my room I laugh and shut my door once he's out. I get into bed and right before I fall asleep my phone dings, its a text from Peter. He's saying he's got a surprise for me and that I'm not allowed to fall asleep yet.

Before I even get the chance to try and fall asleep I'm interrupted by the sound of a small rock being thrown at my window. I go over to the window and see Peter waving for me to come down. I quietly put shoes on and walk down stairs and go out the back door.

"What the hell are you doing here Parker, do you want my dad to kill us both" I ask when I'm out side.

"I have something I want to show you, but you have to promise it stays between us" Peter says reaching his pinky out, naturally I pinky promise because now I'm curious.

"Why couldn't this just wait till tomorrow when I'm not half asleep" I ask crossing my arms.

"Just close your eyes until I say you can open them" Peter says rolling his eyes at me.

"Oh my lanta Parker, do you even realize how much you sound like a serial killer right now" I ask laughing at him. Peter sighs and grabs my hands and puts them over my eyes. A minute later Peters telling me to open my eyes. When I do he's standing in front of me in a Spider-Man suit.

"Wait I'm confused. Is this some kind of joke because May gave me that picture of you as a kid on halloween one year" I ask very confused.

"I-, wait Aunt May gave you a picture of me? That's not the point, this is the point" Peter says, and next thing I know he's shot a web and is flinging up onto the roof of the house. I slap my hands over my mouth to keep myself from screaming from shock and excitement. Well there's my plot twist for today.

Peter's POV

Up until now my love life had been pretty non existent. Except for when my date's dad tried to kill me during homecoming a year ago. That's not exactly my proudest moment. Now I've kissed one of my friends and haven't been able to focus on anything else since she left. I know we are supposed to wait until tomorrow to talk again, but I can't wait.

Before I know it I'm outside her window asking her to come outside. Not only that but I am in the Spider-Man suit and flinging onto her roof. I look down and see she's beyond shock, as I expected. Even though she can't see it I smile. I shoot web down at her and bring her up here with me. I catch her and have to hold myself up so I don't fall and make to much noise.

"Holy shit Parker, who knew you were full of surprises" She says holding onto me to help keep steady.

"I figured you trusted me enough with your secret that I could share mine" I say to her.

"Wait so that was your suit my dad was working on? Do you work with my dad? Wait does that make you an avenger" She asks me obviously still not fully comprehending everything. I can't help but laugh at her a little.

"Yes that was my suit, and kind of we worked together on one job. Also yea, it basically makes me and avenger" I say shrugging my shoulders.

"Wow, okay this was totally better than sleeping. Just when I thought you couldn't amaze me anymore you always pull something new out" She says nodding her head slowly. We sit down on the roof to take less of a risk at falling off.

"So how was the event tonight" I ask, "Was it as bad as you expected?".

"You know it really wasn't, I think I just worked it up to much in my head" She says laying her head on her knees looking over at me.

"See I told you everything would be fine. You just need to have more faith in yourself" I tell her.

"You have enough faith in me for the both of us. As long as you don't go anywhere I'll be fine" She says moving and laying her head on my legs.

"I promise you I'm not going anywhere" I say playing with her ponytail. We sit in silence for a bit just enjoying the semi-silent night. Complete silence is hard when you live in New York.

"Alright Spider-Boy as much as I wish I could sit here forever its almost two in the morning and you have school tomorrow" Margo says sitting up. I sigh and and get us both back on the ground.

"Wait before you leave I have one request. I want to try something, go hang upside down off one of those tree branches" She says pointing at the bunch of trees behind us.

"Why exactly am I doing this" I ask confused.

"Can't you just trust me Parker" She says pushing me to the trees.

"You're one to talk, you called me a serial killer when I asked you to close your eyes" I say laughing at her. She just rolls her eyes and points to the trees. I sigh and jump up on a brach. I shoot a web at the one above and slowly slide down until we are face to face.

"Now what are we supposed to do" I ask curiously. She just laughs and reaches to pull my mask off my face. Once she gets it off she puts it on the ground.

"Hi, I missed that mug of yours Parker" She says smiling looking at me. I can't help but smile back at her. Next thing I know she's leaning into kiss me again, this time it feels a lot less rushed. Its softer and just different from the first one.

"If we keep doing this we won't have anything left to talk about when we meet after the field trip" I say jumping off the web so I'm standing upright.

"Oh don't worry yourself Parker, we'll still have stuff to talk about" she says picking up my mask and handing it to me before heading back to the house. Once she's inside I hear my phone ding and its a goodnight text from her. I text her goodnight back and head home.
